Chapter 539: Oh, she flew up

Chapter 539: Oh, she flew up

“Well, well, what’s going on here?” Esma asked curiously, appearing with a joyful expression on her face when Arabel called her.

Milena was about to emerge from her cocoon, and Arabel thought that Esme, as one of the Valkyries, should also be present at this event.

“Big sisters,” Arabel said, “Do you still remember the girl that Idan and I mentioned when we talked about our time in another world? The one we saved from some strange ritual?”

“Oh, are you saying that the girl is inside this cocoon?” Sierra immediately understood what Arabel was getting at.

“So, it’s her,” Lucinda sighed, remembering the girl she had recently helped at the couple’s request.

“Yes, that’s her,” Arabel confirmed, and then briefly described how and why Milena ended up inside the cocoon.

Of the three Valkyries, only Esma was the least knowledgeable, but even she more or less understood what was going on.

All three Valkyries lapsed into silence.

“Is something wrong?” — Arabel asked, noticing that her sworn older sisters were silent.

“We’re worried about you, little sister,” Sierra said with a sigh. “As we said before, unlike us, the other Valkyries from Junonia are unlikely to accept your existence, especially considering that you have multiple Valkyrie bloodlines at once.”

“But we weren’t too worried because you and Idan have the ability to hide your bloodlines, and they’re very difficult to detect,” Sierra continued.

“However, as I suspect, this new girl will probably become a full—fledged Valkyrie without such an ability to hide her bloodline, am I right?” she asked.

Arabel nodded, confirming her hunch.

“Little sister, even if the other Valkyries can’t catch you, they can capture this girl when she’s in Junonia. Let me warn you, the Valkyries will find a way to get her to talk and find out about you. When they find out who you are, you’ll be hunted down,” Sierra said anxiously.

“Valkyries in Junonia rule an entire continent. They have eyes everywhere. It will be very difficult for you and this girl to hide from them forever. Don’t think that you can create many like you and stand up to Junonia’s Valkyries,” Sierra said, as if seeing right through her and knowing what she was trying to do.

“The black one is right,” — Lucinda agreed, accepting Sierra’s arguments.

If Arabel were alone, it would be easier for her to hide, but if there are more people like her, sooner or later one of them will be caught, and then the Valkyries of Junonia will know everything.

“If the Valkyries of Junonia find out about you and your ability to create other Valkyries, not to mention that you have several Valkyrie bloodlines at once, then those whose attention it is better not to attract will be interested in you,” Lucinda added. “I’m referring to the Sierra and Geminia-level Valkyries, creatures of Legendary and Mythical rank.”

Arabel was aware that her existence was made possible by the system and the title of “Supreme.” Without it, she would hardly have been able to obtain so many bloodlines, and she understood the risks she was taking.

She was pleased to know that her older sisters were worried about her. She trusted them and therefore decided not to hide Milena’s existence, revealing her to them.

“Okay, don’t scare our little sister like that. What’s done is done,” Esma spoke up. Turning to Arabel, she asked: “Tell me, little sister, didn’t you warn this girl about the dangers that await her in Junonia if she takes this potion?”

“Yes, I told her about everything that awaits her if she becomes a Valkyrie, starting from a possible feud with an entire race and ending with the fact that she will only be able to give birth to one or two children-girls,” Arabel confessed.

“Well, since she made this decision consciously, then there shouldn’t be any problems,” Esma summed up.

“Tell me, sisters, if you were an ordinary person in this girl’s place, you were offered such a chance to become one of the higher races, knowing about the possible difficulties that may arise if you choose, would you turn down this opportunity?” asked Esma.

Sierra and Lucinda exchanged glances, and their response was the same. There was no way they would have missed this chance.

Esma was right, and Lucinda and Sierra knew it. They wanted to warn Arabel not to act rashly and to be careful in her actions. After all, if what they fear happens, even they are unlikely to be able to help her.

“Oh, look, there’s a crack!” exclaimed Esma, pointing at the cocoon.

Everyone, including Essora, who had been listening to the conversation of these powerful women all this time, paid attention to the cocoon.

As Esma said, cracks started to appear on it, one after another.

But what amazed everyone was that not only light energy was flowing out of the cracks, but also darkness.

When there were too many cracks, the cocoon exploded, and a black-and-white ray like a spiral shot upward.

“Oh, she flew up,” Esma commented, and all eyes turned to the sky.

And then they saw her. A newborn Valkyrie.

The new Valkyrie had four massive wings on her back. The two upper wings glowed radiating the element of Light, while the two lower wings were jet black in color.

Valkyrie had long blonde hair that turned dark at the ends.

She appeared in front of everyone in her true form, without clothes. Her perfect figure and slender long legs immediately attracted attention.

Arabel, gazing intently at Milena’s new Valkyrie appearance, applied an Identifying Eye to her.

———————————-

**Identification:**

Name: Milena

Race: The Light-Dark Valkyrie (Golden Rank)

Age: 20

Random information: A Light Valkyrie corrupted by Darkness

———————————-

“A Light-Dark Valkyrie?” — Arabel whispered as her ability revealed the name of Milena’s race.

Then her attention was attracted by random information that the identification eye gave out.:

“A Light Valkyrie corrupted by Darkness?”

“So, she turned into a Light Valkyrie?”

Lucinda and Sierra’s faces were very serious as they looked at Milena.

They both felt it: in Milena’s body, the two opposing elements that they themselves possessed coexisted peacefully without clashing with each other.

They exchanged glances, and both had the same question in their eyes:

“How is this possible?”
