Chapter 621: Transformation

Chapter 621: Transformation

Soon, 8 people were sitting in front of Matthew, before the gaze of many people, inside Richter’s Kingdom Castle.

He looked inside himself and found a large number of small blood circles floating gently in continuous rows of hundreds or even thousands of them.

During this time, he had managed to collect so many that he couldn’t see them all, but among all those, most of them were not ready for optimal use.

What was the function of having this pile of bloody balls inside him?

His body and his blood would gradually transform that external blood into Dietrich’s Blood for later use on external people.

Once he goes through a long process of transformation, the blood will become Dietrich’s Blood, and he will be able to use his most optimal state, which will help him convert people into members of his clan. However, it has limitations.

These balls have power, but cannot be transferred to someone who already belongs to the race, as it cannot essentially give a new life to any vampire, but it can grant them that bloodline and thus turn them into a Dietrich Member.

These new Dietrich Members would not have Dietrich’s Vampirism, but they would still have a saint’s blood, which would allow them to become very powerful, enhancing their Vampirism to the level they had in the ancient era.

In theory, Matthew would be creating new vampires, but he would simply be giving them a new bloodline. He wants them to be people with Dietrich’s Blood in their veins not because he can’t do it in people who don’t have it; it’s simply because he knows that way there would be no reaction and thus no danger of death.

But this time it would be the first time he did it, so he had to be careful.

As he stood in front of each of the chosen ones, he pulled out one of those blood balls and held it in his hand.

’Although there aren’t many ready for use, there are still 50 of them. That’s a considerable number, considering that it can sometimes take tens of years to transform one. My body seems to be doing it faster than my father’s.’

He moved the blood ball across his hand and smiled. "I’ll do it all at the same time, be prepared. You may feel some pain, but don’t resist anything. Just strengthen your muscles and body in general. Remember that the blood that goes into you is Dietrich’s Blood."

After that, Matthew arrived first in front of Gray. "I’ll open a wound in one of your veins." He said and without waiting for Gray to say anything, one of the veins near the wrist suddenly looked broken. The blood that didn’t find its cycle immediately tried to get out, but couldn’t.

Two small pieces of ice embedded themselves on either side of the wound, momentarily preventing the blood from passing through, and subsequently, the ball of blood in Matthew’s hand entered the vein.

Finally, Matthew grabbed a drop of blood from a pot, which belonged to Isla, and poured it over the wound. This new blood activated absurd regenerative attributes and allowed him to recover at an astonishing speed.

After that, Matthew moved on to the next person, Alice’s Grandfather.

He did exactly the same on him and Martin Allen and then on the rest of the people present.

When he finished, he stepped back and watched from the side, waiting patiently.

Then he heard Charlotte’s voice.

"This is the Vampire Progenitor’s ability, which the Human Progenitor has always envied." She said softly. Few knew she was here, so she wouldn’t show herself.

"What ability?" Matthew asked casually, though he knew the answer.

"The ability to grant other vampires Real Power and Talent. Undoubtedly, it’s a power all of us progenitors crave. Hehe, reminds me a bit of Earth and its System. I wonder how far we are from that place." She came up behind him then, and Matthew seemed to disappear from the view of those present. No one could detect the presence of the two, despite the fact that they were right in front of them.

Matthew smiled softly and turned away. One hand reached up to cup her cheeks, and the other to caress her lips.

"Whether they are far away or near, my vengeance will fall on them sooner or later. Even if I have discovered that that life was not so real, the pain of your loss is not forgotten just because we have returned to our original bodies. Maybe going there was just an excuse to learn what kind of beings humans were."

Charlotte then proceeded to enjoy a gentle kiss that Matthew bestowed upon her. It was soft and pleasurable, worthy of a kiss that would start a series of fierce events between them in a lonely room. But... Unfortunately, that was as far as they could both go at this point.

As much as they both desired each other intensely, they could do nothing else. The union of the two was forbidden and punishable by the worst punishment: death.

Therefore, there was nothing left for them but to wish each other and remember the days when they had each other.

"I’m glad you still remember them. The humans who hurt you will pay me back sooner or later. So I hope we can do it together at that time."

"Hehe, I’ll break fate if we’re not meant to."

The two proceeded to kiss again, before Charlotte disappeared from the scene, as one of the chosen people seemed to be reacting.

Matthew then reappeared in front of them and stared them down.

’As I suspected, Mr. Hoffman is very compatible with this Dietrich blood. I think I’m in for a lovely surprise today.’ He smiled softly and moved closer to monitor his body.

But suddenly, he also sensed that three other bodies were reacting fervently.

That made him frown.

’Gray, Karla, and... Old Martin? It seems that their compatibility with Dietrich’s blood is astonishing. It doesn’t compare to Mr. Hoffman’s, but... Could they reach his level?’ He thought, confused by what he was seeing.

Gray was no surprise; he is a man who, while relying heavily on his skills, is one of the most powerful individuals in this world. That means he is highly compatible with Dietrich’s blood.

Now, while Martin is also very powerful, he hasn’t achieved much in his thousand years of life. He got far, yes, but in the last stretch from 140,000 to 150,000, he barely took a few steps. There, it was determined that he wasn’t that amazing in using his chosen Path, which, by the way, he still doesn’t know what it is.

’Maybe it’s related to his changing energy...’ he thought. That must be the case, although he has no idea why it would have anything to do with it, but it was the only thing he could think of for now.

And then there’s Karla. What’s so special about her, besides a strong Dietrich bloodline? A strong bloodline doesn’t necessarily mean high compatibility, and she should be a clear example of that, since she’s not that powerful in her own right.

While she may be among the top five current Heirs, she is over 100 years old, even 200, which is more than twice the age of the current oldest Heir. She’s not that talented, is she? Or was there something he was missing?

That’s why he decided not to interfere this time. ’I’ll wait for one of the bodies to signal me to see. Maybe it will be a different and unexpected reaction,’ he thought.
