Capítulo 1947: Chapter 1947: Blessing
Cenarius said, “There’s no use rushing now. The main person isn’t here. Why are you even telling us…”
Aviana suddenly realized, “With such a big event happening, where’s Prairie Fire? Why hasn’t he shown up yet?”
The Black Dragon Queen chuckled, “Sorry, the master is still adventuring in the sub-dimension and hasn’t returned. But if it’s about yielding the Mother Tree, you need not ask. That’s impossible.”
“Dignified Dragon Queen, yet so shameless.” Aviana’s expression changed, “Besides, you said it’s your master’s decision. I’m afraid you can’t make that call either.”
Several Dragon Kings looked displeased. This matter is indeed disgraceful. But the situation is set in stone, and they cannot turn against Prairie Fire. Moreover, both parties are willing, and though they can manage other Dragon Clan members, the Dragon Queen is their sister, not under them.
Especially the Blue Dragon King looked furiously at Aviana, wondering why she brought up such a sensitive subject.
Cenarius, being on good terms with Aviana, quickly smoothed things over, “Everyone knows the relationship between the bird and the Mother Tree. It’s an emotional moment, please pardon her.”
The Green Dragon Queen nodded slightly, “Things in this world often develop unpredictably. I know you’re anxious, but everything has its limits. The matter of the Mother Tree is significant, and it’s not only you who’s concerned.”
Aviana nodded, “You’re right, my Queen. I was being impatient. The Mother Tree is too important. Other matters can be resolved, but I’m worried Prairie Fire might not be able to protect the Mother Tree. Its appearance might harm many demigods outside the order’s ranks, especially with the Nightmare King’s issue—he will hate the Mother Tree deeply. Prairie Fire, after all, is a newcomer.”
The Black Dragon Queen couldn’t hold back any longer, sneering, “What a joke. If my master can’t protect it, do you think you can?”
“Do you think I, a demigod, am incapable?” Aviana wasn’t backing down.
“Ha, remember who got beaten like a stray dog last time when both you and your father went up against my master? You couldn’t even succeed together. Alone, you stand even less chance.” The Black Dragon Queen, naturally fiery-tempered, had held back earlier to avoid causing trouble for Li Yao. But now, realizing they wanted to seize the Mother Tree, she couldn’t remain silent.
“That was merely coincidence. If it hadn’t been for the strange domain, the outcome might have been different.” Aviana, short-tempered herself, wasn’t willing to let the matter slide.
“Oh really? Seems like your father had no choice but to activate his domain, right?” The Black Dragon Queen retaliated, “Don’t use age as an excuse. In my prime, you wouldn’t stand a chance against me. Plus, since my master emerged, not just demigods but even several main gods and ancient gods have been outsmarted by him. Demigods, seriously, are insignificant.”
“You…” Aviana was furious but couldn’t refute.
Since the recent battles where Li Yao single-handedly caused upheaval, outsmarting the blood ancestor—a notorious villain that no one dared provoke—and then crushing the combined efforts of the Raven and Aviana.
Information about Prairie Fire began to circulate among the deities. A thorough check revealed his chaotic exploits since leaving the Beginner’s Village. Crossing paths with two or three ancient gods was bad enough, but even the Spider Queen and the Lion Scorpion, these notoriously ruthless figures, had suffered under him. Demigods really stood no match.
Initially, the deities who underestimated Prairie Fire soon cast aside their disdain. Once or twice might be luck, but a series of events proved the reality. With him still lively and thriving, one can’t help but marvel—a remarkable figure has emerged among the mortal race.
The other few faces showed a hint of awkwardness. Though the Black Dragon Queen’s words were directed at Aviana, they also resonated with them.
The Mother Tree is too crucial. Naturally, they hope to relocate it to the Dragon Sleep Temple, ensuring that the Dragon Bone Wilderness can revive its ancient vitality.
Of course, several Dragon Clan sacred places are there, making protection convenient.
The Black Dragon Queen sighed, “Certainly, if you’re eager for a total showdown with the Scourge Legion, I wouldn’t mind persuading the master to send the Mother Tree to Dragon Bone Wilderness.”
The Dragon Kings fell silent. Even if they won against the Scourge, how many members of the Dragon Clan would remain? Furthermore, each Dragon Clan has its own responsibilities. Winning alone means chaos in the world.
Now they understand that their protection of the Mother Tree is entirely unrealistic.
“Seems like it’s safer here. Shall we bestow blessings again?” The Red Dragon Queen was practical.
“Very well, I’ll align the Mother Tree with the primary Dream Realm, letting its power nurture its growth swiftly and healthily, without deformity. Our daughter will bring her legion to guard the path, which is well-timed since she has ties with Prairie Fire, making coordination easier.” The Green Dragon Queen considered, “Of course, the Mother Tree will reinforce the Dream Realm, preventing the Nightmare from spreading.”
The Bronze Dragon King contemplated, “I will unleash the power of time to sever the Mother Tree’s connection with the Void, preventing detection from the Void or the Burning Legion. It needs time to grow.”
The Blue Dragon King added, “I’ll connect the Mother Tree with the Focusing Rainbow, enriching its growth and conferring magical dyes, making nearby birds more transformative into Warcraft to protect the Mother Tree.”
The demigods and dragon kings are present, yet the surroundings are teeming with birds, who would have long perched on the Mother Tree were it not for the dragon and divine aura.
The Red Dragon Queen pondered briefly, “My blessing shall grant the force of life, bestowing wisdom on beings under the Mother Tree, making newborns smarter and physically powerful for its protection.”
“I may lack such power, but I can return to Ashenvale to rally a batch of Ancient Trees to protect it.” Cenarius said.
“Very good.” The Green Dragon Queen nodded, “Seems Prairie Fire will certainly benefit from this.”
The dragon kings smiled wryly. Ultimately, that’s the case, but to ensure the safety of the Mother Tree, they must act.
The Black Dragon Queen smiled broadly, thanks to the dragon kings’ blessings. Starfire and several cities will gain immensely, with the main city stabilizing and attracting more races.
“Since I have nowhere better to be, I’ll stay temporarily until Prairie Fire returns. Soulville needs me.” Aviana remarked reluctantly.
Everyone found it strange; besides protecting the tree, they’ve gained a demigod. Should Starfire face danger, the Mother Tree is the first to bear the brunt. Would Aviana not step in then?
