Chapter 1946: Chapter 1946: Earthshaking Upheaval
Ah, The Seed of the World, such a thing is a super rare item of immense use to them as well, and it actually fell into the hands of a small creature at the camp level. This luck made even the Dragon kings a bit envious.
What shocked them even more was that Prairie Fire not only obtained this item but did not merge it with a weapon to create a Divine Artifact.
They couldn’t believe Li Yao didn’t know this, otherwise, why would he choose to merge it with the Ancient Tree, which in their eyes, was the most correct choice.
The benefits of doing so were too numerous, both personally and publicly, Prairie Fire would benefit immensely.
As of now, evolving the Ancient Tree into the Mother Tree would allow Starfire to gain tremendous immediate benefits. In the current continent’s inability to teleport all at once, just the teleportation alone is an enormous advantage.
Not to mention gaining the Guardian Array, which is far more formidable than the Ancient Tree.
Crucially, this would also leave many strong individuals indebted to Prairie Fire and Li Yao; among the most fervent is Aviana.
Aviana was adopted by the previous generation Mother Tree from a young age, treating her as a real mother and home. Although the current Mother Tree isn’t the same as back then, she would undoubtedly be disappointed.
But as the true child and heir of the Mother Tree, she would inevitably guard it as if they were her siblings.
Another direct beneficiary is the Green Dragon Queen Ysera. As the Guardian of Dreams, the God’s Main Position’s strong natural order is the greatest support for Dream.
Especially given the constant invasion by Nightmare Power, the Green Dragon Legion’s manpower is obviously stretched, and now the emergence of the Mother Tree will significantly enhance the stability of Dream and the strength of the Green Dragon Legion. With this ebb and flow, the Green Dragon can finally recuperate.
The most important aspect is that the Mother Tree is the home of all birds, and even more, it is the homeland of souls, the resting place for all souls. Through the Mother Tree, they can allow many souls willing to be reborn in Dream to live in the Dreamland World, thereby also strengthening the pure Power of Dream to suppress the Nightmare.
The third individual who owes a debt is Cenarius. It’s not just about Dream Plane—as a natural Demigod, the emergence of the Mother Tree is akin to stabilizing the natural law of the main God world once more.
Despite the explosion of the Eternal Well back in the day, the Ancient God World seems to still exist, but its laws have been damaged, especially the natural law. Cenarius couldn’t ascend to godhood successfully, but the appearance of the Mother Tree, especially as it gradually strengthens, will continually heal the wounds of the Ancient God World and perfect the natural law.
This gives Cenarius renewed hope of godhood. He must repay this debt. Although there is no so-called causality theory in this world that would become an obstacle to godhood, it’s still very much a matter of etiquette, especially for the gods of the Order camp, who believe in repaying kindness and settling scores, a simple principle.
The Blue Dragon King, having composed himself, said, "Presumably, everyone was alerted by some anomaly to notice the commotion here. I guard the Magic Axis, the Focusing Rainbow power has increased by twenty percent, and the natural law has been reconnected. That’s how I knew a great upheaval was happening in the world, and knowing the source was with Little Friend Prairie Fire, I came to this main city."
The Green Dragon Queen also nodded, saying, "There was an anomaly in Dream; I was holding off the Nightmare Lord while my daughter led the Legion in battle against the Nightmare Army. Suddenly, the Dream Tides erupted, not only drastically increasing our strength but also heavily damaging the entire Nightmare Army. I also sensed a connection to Little Friend Prairie Fire, so I hurried here at the first opportunity. There happened to be a Dream portal nearby, so I arrived first to observe, and upon seeing you all, I made my appearance."
The Bronze Dragon King sighed, "I sensed a time anomaly, a change had occurred. Upon venturing outside, I discovered numerous oases had appeared in the desert, and in the distant basin, natural forces burgeoned, spreading out, breaking free from the desert’s confinement. Such a turning event prompted me to step outside."
Everyone was astonished; a shift in the timeline signifies a crossroads of fate. The appearance of the Mother Tree exceeded even the Bronze Dragon King’s expectations, indicating this event was not in the current chronicle of events, a recent emergence, implying a change had occurred.
The Black Dragon Queen inquired, "We won’t ask much, but is the outcome good or bad?"
The Bronze Dragon King offered a wry smile, "At least, standing at this crossroads, there is no chronicle of time. We are right at the forefront of time. Whether good or bad, it’s truly hard to say. I don’t know either."
Instead of being disheartened, everyone felt invigorated. Why were the Giant Dragons powerless? Why couldn’t they break free from shackles? Because the outcome was preordained. Even where the river of time branched out, it played out clearly within time. No matter how they struggled, it would lead to a destined result, transforming from one bad outcome to another.
Now, however, a completely new river of time has appeared, outside of fate. It means the world has changed, completely altered its course; the future holds many unknowns. Could the fate of the Dragon Clan change?
At the very least, the Black Dragon Queen turned crisis into safety; the Red Dragon wasn’t gravely injured, and the Blue Dragon Queen was resurrected. Although she cannot return, it seems the Blue Dragon King won’t go mad and be killed.
It’s like a struggle inevitably leading to death—only the manner of death changes, and before you even struggle, you know all the outcomes. Now, not knowing if death is in the future or what the future holds, there may be life, or there may be death. This fills the Dragon Kings with exhilaration.
Even the usually reticent Bronze Dragon King said so many words in excitement.
The Red Dragon Queen also said, "I was patrolling various racial sanctuaries in the Dragon Bone Wilderness when I discovered that the sanctuaries of the Red Dragon and Green Dragon had greatly expanded. The clan’s fortune has unexpectedly continued to rise, prompting me to investigate."
Cenarius said, "I suddenly felt my thoughts become clear, and many ancient trees in slumber had awakened. Only then did I realize the changes here."
Aviana couldn’t help but ask, "Now I’m concerned if our little brother will form a realm like Mother’s, a Soulville."
"He will," Ysera affirmed. "I can sense that he has formed two inner worlds, one being Soulville and the other shrouded in primordial chaos, full of the unknown."
"Little brother, I know you can sense our conversations. Your mother was my foster mother; I have no ill intentions. May I visit the Soulville?" asked Aviana.
However, around them was dead silence. The newly born Mother Tree continued to grow slowly, its branches and leaves swaying as if not having heard her words.
"He was revived by Little Friend Prairie Fire, and now, having achieved to become the Ancient Tree, probably only Prairie Fire can make him let go of any defenses. And only Prairie Fire’s words will he heed. What we say is useless," Cenarius said.
Aviana eagerly said, "Could Little Friend Prairie Fire spare him? Let me take care of our little brother. I am willing to pay any price."
Everyone remained silent. How much time and expense did it cost to cultivate the Ancient Tree? Now, even more, they have added the immensely valuable and rare Seed of the World. Who could give it up, especially since the individual is a lord with ambition?
Not to mention, in the last war, Aviana was on the opposing side. Despite the unwillingness, it was fortunate not to have become enemies, let alone having any boon; there was none. Why would anyone do her a favor? Pay the price—what could compare to the Mother Tree...
