Chu Jin looked at the ridiculously large wild chicken and smacked his lips, "Should we make a move?"
Su Ling and Shang Qi stood under a large tree, looking up at the wild chicken.
The wild chicken was unafraid of humans, standing proudly on the tree, its feathers beautiful.
"No need, let's keep moving." Su Ling's voice was faint. As soon as she finished speaking, she continued forward.
Shang Qi walked beside her, holding her hand and using a knife to cut away thorny branches that blocked their path.
Chu Jin followed behind the two, observing their surroundings.
He occasionally saw all sorts of wild animals, both flying and running, their sheer size making his scalp tingle.
Because they had transformed from small creatures into large ones, they were no longer as tiny and inconspicuous as before.
Now, a single movement could cause a commotion, making it impossible not to notice them.
Fortunately, these animals didn't seem to notice anything unusual about them and were timid and afraid of humans, not daring to attack Su Ling and the others rashly.
As Su Ling and the three ventured deeper into the forest, the animals became more numerous, and the forest grew denser. The sun was blocked, with only a sliver of light filtering through the thick canopy.
In the depths of the forest, vegetation grew abundantly, making it almost impossible to discern their path.
Seeing that their way forward was lost, Su Ling and Shang Qi decided not to proceed further and planned to turn back.
The main reason was that exploring unknown territory carried unknown risks, and they couldn't rashly venture deeper. They had reached a point where it was best to stop.
Just as Su Ling and Shang Qi were about to turn around and return with Chu Jin, the area they were in was suddenly filled with a flurry of birds and beasts darting in all directions, creating a cacophony of movement throughout the forest.
Seeing the situation, Chu Jin quickly opened his consciousness sea to check.
The more he looked, the more stunned Chu Jin became.
However, he didn't remain stunned for long. He quickly regained his senses and said to Su Ling and Shang Qi, "A terrifying giant python is heading our way."
Chu Jin's consciousness sea was still open, allowing him to track the direction of the giant python in real-time.
Su Ling and Shang Qi remained silent, but from Chu Jin's expression, they could tell that the terrifying giant python was difficult to deal with.
"I'm going!"
Chu Jin spoke again, but with only this exclamation.
Chu Jin swallowed. He was wearing sunglasses, so Su Ling and Shang Qi couldn't see the emotions in his eyes.
Even without the sunglasses, Su Ling and Shang Qi wouldn't have understood the emotions displayed in his eyes.
Chu Jin looked at Su Ling and Shang Qi, who were unaware of the approaching danger, and directly said, "Run!"
After saying this, Chu Jin turned and sprinted back the way they came.
Fearing that Shang Qi and Su Ling weren't following, he looked back. Fortunately, Shang Qi and Su Ling were running with him.
As they ran back, Shang Qi directly swept Su Ling into his arms and, treading on the thorny path they had taken, ran even faster than Chu Jin.
Chu Jin, left behind by Shang Qi, stared wide-eyed. He couldn't comprehend how he had gone from being far ahead to being at the tail end. But he didn't dare to dwell on it. His consciousness sea was still open, and he could see the giant python's path directly towards them.
What Chu Jin saw in his consciousness sea was this scene:
A terrifying giant python, coiled up to the size of a basketball court, was slithering forward with its forked tongue and fangs extended.
Wherever the python passed, trees toppled, and birds and beasts scattered in chaos. Everything in its path was flattened, and the creatures it encountered became mere appetizers.
The scene was truly shocking and terrifying!
