Chapter 433 Plundering Supplies

"For example?"

Wen Shangyin didn't show much interest, idly looking at the red wine in his hand.

Clearly, Wen Shangyin was not curious and didn't want to hear what Xu Yan had to say.

Xu Yan saw Wen Shangyin's attitude but wasn't flustered. With her bulging backpack on her back, she looked down at the two men sitting, her calculations running smoothly.

She was glad she came; if she hadn't, she would have missed something very precious.

Like her man, her support, her good life in the apocalypse.

Thinking of this, Xu Yan felt that what she was about to say was truly of utmost importance.

Xu Yan took off her bulging backpack from her shoulder and placed it at her feet before answering Wen Shangyin's question.

"I mean, the prison area has very rich reserves of supplies. But unfortunately, those supplies were taken away by Su Ling and her group," Xu Yan knew how to persuade and sway Wen Shangyin and Song Lian. She continued, "Not only daily necessities but also various firearms, weapons, and scarce resources like oil."

Upon hearing Xu Yan's words, Wen Shangyin exchanged a look with Song Lian.

Although neither spoke, it was evident they were tempted and listening to what Xu Yan said.

Though they didn't want to admit it, one thing was a fact: as the apocalypse dragged on, their supplies were gradually dwindling. Especially after the end of the world, many manufactured goods ceased to be produced because everything collapsed, and the source was cut off.

Everything, the more it was used, the less there was.

Scavenging for supplies had become their primary mission after the apocalypse.

But supplies were not continuously generated; they were constantly decreasing as the needs of survivors expanded.

This was why they had risked their lives to negotiate with Xu Du and his group, trying to persuade them to surrender.

Although Wen Shangyin and Song Lian remained silent, Xu Yan could see that they were very tempted by her words.

"I know where those things were transferred," Xu Yan said, her gaze fixed on Wen Shangyin. "If you take me in, I'll tell you the specific locations of those supplies."

This was Xu Yan's negotiation condition.

Wen Shangyin was very tempted but also cautious. He looked at the clean and radiant Xu Yan from head to toe and asked, "How do you know about these things? Were you Su Ling's person before, or were you taken from the prison area by her?"

"Obviously, I belong to the latter," Xu Yan said to Wen Shangyin, her face unblushing as she lied. "I don't know Su Ling at all. I've been living in the prison area since the apocalypse. The boss of the prison area, he's my brother."

"That's why I know so much. And the reason I didn't choose to follow Su Ling is because they killed my brother. I'm irreconcilable with them. But I'm not capable, I'm not their match, and I can't stand to see them do well."

Xu Yan was lying to Wen Shangyin and Song Lian. Xu Du was not her brother.

Not only was he not her brother, but he was also her man, one of her many men.

None of that mattered, because she needed to survive and required a fabricated identity.

Wen Shangyin looked at Xu Yan, who was spilling everything, and said indifferently, "What good does it do if you tell me this? Those supplies have already been seized by Su Ling and her group. Even if I have the desire, I can't just go and snatch them."

"You can!"
