Chapter 324; Are you crazy?

Chapter 324: Chapter 324; Are you crazy?

Huo Ting Cheng’s brows twitched, his eyes narrowing into sharp slits. "Outfits? Are you crazy? You picking them? Don’t you think, it ain’t that good?"

Secretary Li leaned back in his seat, completely unbothered by the cold glare aimed his way. In fact, his grin only widened. "What? Don’t tell me you plan to just sit there with her, staring into each other’s eyes like some old couple drinking tea? Ting Cheng, women like surprises. Flowers, silk sheets, scented candles, the whole thing. If you really want to impress her, you need more than a stocked fridge."

Huo Ting Cheng’s lips pressed into a thin line, the tips of his ears turning slightly red though his face stayed stern.

"And," Secretary Li continued, his voice turning sly, "don’t act like you don’t want it either. You’ve been holding back so long, even a novice like you might surprise her if you just... let yourself go a little."

That was enough to make Huo Ting Cheng snap his gaze toward him, his tone low and dangerous. "Secretary Li."

The man immediately sat straighter, but the faint chuckle in his throat betrayed him. "Alright, alright, I’ll stop. But seriously, think about it. You don’t get many chances like this. A honeymoon is something that’s done once in a fancy way, you know."

Huo Qi, who had been holding it in the whole time, finally burst out laughing. He leaned forward, nearly dropping his tablet as he clutched his stomach. "Secretary Li is right, Sixth Master Huo. You really do need some help in this department. Just food and silence? That’s not a honeymoon, that sounds like a sleepover!"

Secretary Li snorted, nodding eagerly. "Exactly! Imagine Madam’s face if she walks in and all she sees is a fridge full of vegetables. She’ll think you brought her there to cook, not to... enjoy herself."

Huo Qi wiped at the corner of his eyes, still chuckling. "You need some romantic atmosphere, Master. Flowers, music, maybe even a view she’ll love. Otherwise, Madam might run off before you even get to say goodnight. Make it more memorable you know..."

Both men exchanged a look, their laughter overlapping as though they had rehearsed this teasing for years, and they had been waiting for this particular moment to mess with him.

Meanwhile, Huo Ting Cheng sat stiff in his seat, his long fingers drumming once against his knee. His glare shifted between the two men, dark and simmering. "Are you two done?" he asked, his voice dangerously calm.

But the slight flush creeping up his neck betrayed him far more than his expression ever could.

But instead of stopping, the teasing only grew worse.

Secretary Li tapped his chin, pretending to think deeply on how to go about this! "How about rose petals on the bed? Classic move. Or... better yet, a trail of them leading from the door straight to the bedroom. Apart from flowers, how about we find those unique videos for the two of you to watch and lighten up the mood..."

Huo Qi’s eyes lit up as if he’d just remembered something even more outrageous, "Oh! And scented candles you know. Lots of them. Vanilla, lavender, maybe even that cinnamon one that makes the whole room smell sweet. Romantic atmosphere guaranteed."

Secretary Li chuckled. "And music, don’t forget the music. Something soft, slow... the kind that makes you want to hold her close. The kind that makes you go wild... You are still strong right?" He meaningfully eyes him from head to toe.

Huo Qi grinned wickedly. "Or you could just surprise her with fireworks outside the balcony. Nothing says romance like setting off half the neighborhood at midnight. Is there anything bad about it?"

That finally earned them a sharp look from Huo Ting Cheng. His lips pressed tight, but his ears betrayed him again, faintly red as the two men kept piling on suggestion after suggestion, like they were pros in this.

"Or... or..." Secretary Li leaned forward, his voice lowering in mock seriousness, "We can order something... a special outfit. Something silk and soft to touch... Maybe in red and full laced... Or it’s just strips..."

Huo Qi nearly dropped his tablet, laughing too hard, "You are making it harder for them!" He eyed his master meaningfully.

The two of them were almost in tears now, tossing ideas back and forth like mischievous schoolboys, while their master sat in silence, clearly regretting ever bringing up the subject.

Finally, Huo Ting Cheng’s hand slammed lightly against the armrest. "Enough!" His voice cut through the laughter like a blade, though the tips of his ears still burned crimson.

"Just clean the place up... Clear the area and also... You can also flower the place with lots of petals, for other things... I will see..." He closed that Chapter, and Huo Qi nodded his head before giving instructions to his guards.

With his tablet in hand, he decided to look through YouTube to see what really happened when two people had a honeymoon. Probably, he didn’t want to disappoint his woman after all, they wanted to have the best memories.

The car went silent as everyone kept themselves busy...

Secretary Li was occupied with the emails as Huo Qi sat there giving orders and making arrangements.

As for the others, they sat just there with their mouths shut and making sure security was maximized!

Huo Pei notified me that they have already arrived in the States but you know, it’s still night there..." Secretary Li notified Ting Cheng as he read through the emails.

" Oooh... He can handle everything else, just don’t give out any projects, at the moment, we have laid back..." He hummed while going through YouTube videos he was searching for. When it came to his woman, he was very attentive.

"Sure...."

"The president traveled prior, like after driving out of the mansion, he went to the airport directly, they say, the couple could be having problems in their marriage..." Huo Qi mumbled looking at the messages he had just received.
