No matter how much she didn’t want to face reality, there were always moments of clarity. She had slept for almost twelve hours and finally woke up on her own accord.
When she woke up, it was midday. Outside, the blue sky and white clouds, the sunlight was brilliant, yesterday’s snow had melted away, and the temperature began to rise, as if...everything was coming back to life.
Dong Xin Yan lay in bed, her face turned to the side, staring blankly at the beautiful view outside the window, but her heart was desolate.
