The office fell into silence. Zhou Yalin slightly raised her eyes, scanning the room. The office setup hadn’t changed, and she walked to the desk, looking at the photo in the frame on the desk. It was still a photo of her and Gu Ningyi. She curved her lips, and her heart eased a bit.
Though this photo was placed here by her insistence, now that it was still here, it meant that Gu Ningyi had not changed his heart towards her.
After all, how could he have a change of heart? He was so deeply in love with... the her from back then.
So, no one could take his heart away from her side!
Zhou Yalin smiled, circled around the desk, sat on the swivel chair, and slightly squinted her eyes, taking a soft breath.
In the air, there seemed to be his scent.
Zhou Yalin’s smile deepened as she swiveled the chair from side to side. Suddenly, her foot accidentally kicked a drawer, which opened halfway.
She stretched out her hand to close the drawer, but inadvertently glanced at a document inside with the name Dong Xin Yan on it.
