Chapter 623: Sofia Murphy’s Statements
After the first four, no one else became a First Level member. They were all Second Level, which is also incredible.
The purity of the blood determines the level of a member after transformation. He gives them pure Dietrich Blood, but when going through the transformation process, it is as if the blood already in the body is fighting against the incoming blood, causing some of the Pure Blood to be lost and lowering the level of purity.
In people whose blood didn’t fight too hard, it stayed too pure, as was the case with Mr. Hoffman, who has the purest Dietrich blood of those present, even above his father’s level.
This depends, to a large extent, on the person’s abilities and control of their inner body. Mr. Hoffman has devoted himself to reading for too long and has spent a lot of time studying himself, which is why he is so good at it.
However, the rest of the people did not have as much ability as he or the other three who also managed to become First Level members, so after many hours of suffering, they managed to reach the Second Level.
"Although I mentioned the levels within the Clan, this normally has no repercussions except in a few things, such as the system of governance. But, most importantly, strength does not depend on that. How powerful you can become does not depend on being First or Second Level; it depends entirely on you and your effort."
"I know a man who was a Third-Level Member, but he achieved heights envied by many First-Level Members, so I am fully confident that you will grow stronger." Matthew said, welcoming them to the Clan.
With these first members, the Age of Dietrich was truly returning. The Dietrich Clan finally had people from all four categories: Third-Level Members, Second-Level Members, First-Level Members, and Eternals.
It was only a matter of time before this world would once again see the rise of the greatest Clan the universe had ever known.
"The resurgence of my clan should not be made public, not now. I will tell you the truth: we are weak. No matter what we do or how we do it, we cannot win against our enemies at this time. That is why we must hide and grow stronger. We must train our young ones to strengthen them as much as we can, to the point where we can be a real threat to them."
"I will impart to you some of the knowledge and rules of the Dietrich Clan, which we have used for a long time to grow so strong. That way, we can become much stronger in just a few years. So listen carefully."
After that, Matthew explained the rules, commandments, and tactics for strengthening the Dietrich Clan. He also promised them that, eventually, if they remained loyal, they would all become members of the Clan, without exception.
He didn’t make empty promises; he needed loyal people, and lots of them! And Dietrich’s Blood is one of the best ways to earn someone’s loyalty, as it is Saint Family Blood.
Thus, the explanations and demonstrations went on for a few days.
...
The border between the Murphy Clan’s territories and the Great Territory of the Blacksmith Kingdom.
Sophia Murphy had done an excellent job these days, fighting against these new troublesome Clans and the forces of the Blacksmith Kingdom. She and her people resisted and drove back many of those traitors.
But then, during that time, a communiqué was issued from the Central City of the World with the signatures of mighty kings, most of the Bloody Vampire Generals, and even several Heirs and Masters of Vampire Clans, as well as many other clans, declaring the territories of the Kingdom of Zimmermann, the Blacksmith Kingdom, and even the Kingdom of the Neuman Anchor as being under the banner of the Central City.
Furthermore, the Territories of the Edevane, Relish, and even Turner Clans are now part of the 4 Pillars of the World, declared as such by the Central City, which is the last of the four pillars.
All of this came with a firm statement: Any attack on one of these territories will be considered an attack on all territories as a whole, so all Clans and Kingdoms that signed the letter are obliged to defend that territory with all their might and destroy the enemy, no matter who they are.
All of this had put a dagger to the throat of Sophia Murphy, who was planning a powerful attack against those bastards.
But she didn’t stop.
The most impressive thing was that after receiving the news, she responded with a statement of her own:
-Any traitor who opposes my revenge will have their head cut off and hung for seven days in the Great City of Murphy. Whether they are from the Blacksmith Kingdom, the Central City, or the Traitor Clans, anyone who wants to test my clairvoyance should come to me.-
The Blacksmith Kingdom took these statements as a major declaration of war, so on the same day, they decided to declare total war and sent powerful people to the border, as Murphy’s forces were attacking it.
"My child... I fear that this time there are too many." The eldest of the Murphy Clan ancestors, Sophia’s grandfather, smiled sadly as he looked from a distance at the large armies brought by the Kingdom to confront them.
They were confident because they shared no other borders with their enemies except this one. If they sent all the forces they had on this side, then there was no way they could be in danger... unless they came by sea, but accessing the ocean from the Dark Kingdom is no easy task; in fact, they would have to travel to the distant and high Kingdom of Zimmermann to do so.
That’s why they were confident.
And the Murphys felt threatened this time.
But Sophia smiled.
"You think so, Grandpa? All I see is a bunch of idiots running around with weapons, like headless chickens. They think they have a leader but haven’t realized they’ve been tricked and will soon fall."
"Aish. I understand your confidence, since we have Dietrich on our side and his ability is amazing, but what good is it if they fall and we’re knocked down first? We should retreat and leave the border until reinforcements from the Kingdom of Richter return. Right now, the entire Dark Kingdom is unprotected without us. If the humans decide to attack..." He sighed. "I’m afraid we wouldn’t be able to defend ourselves against an attack from two different sides."
Sophia understood what he meant, but she just shrugged her shoulders.
"Don’t worry, Grandpa. I have a powerful ally who recently sent me some information. So wait here, I’ll do something to prove to you that they are like headless chickens." Sophia then started walking, but not to run away. She started walking directly toward where those large armies were.
Her grandfather stood up abruptly. "Sophia, what are you doing? Are you planning to face all of them?!" His shout woke several of the elders in nearby tents, and they came out.
Seeing Sophia walking toward the large enemy armies, their hearts almost jumped out of their mouths.
"Lady, what on earth are you doing? There are too many of them!"
But Sophia smiled.
"Yes, there are too many of them. But it feels good to face them on my own. If they want my flesh and blood, if they want my life and seek to kill me, then let them come to me and not act like idiots, attacking and hiding who did it."
"Don’t worry, no one needs to follow me. I will go, kill, and return. Since they dared to turn a blind eye to my statement, then I’ll show them I wasn’t playing around."
Her words shocked all the elders behind her, but before they could react and speak to her, she had disappeared.
