As he read Nyxara's bio, Arkanos's smirk widened, a low chuckle threatening to escape.
He glanced at Nyxara, who was twirling her serrated dagger, her crimson eyes sparkling with childlike excitement, her black hair swaying like a curtain.
'She's practically vibrating with the need to kill something. Thrill-based loyalty, huh? That's a leash I can pull, but I'll need to keep her fed with blood or she'll turn into a problem… Good thing the world is a... very… very… large place.'
'Imprisoned by a lesser god for killing his pets, then freed by me? How convenient. The system's painting me as her savior already… Absurd as always, but useful.'
