Capítulo 1041: Chapter 651: Special
“Get that person out here!” Poison Queen commanded the two figures clad in black robes beside her.
As soon as Poison Queen spoke, the two figures moved like phantoms, instantly arriving at the previous location of Liu Hun and Wu Dao, drawing their Samurai. Sword to fiercely slash at the spot.
“Crack!” A crisp sound rang out directly as a mid-sized tree at the site was cleanly severed, leaving a perfectly neat cross-section.
On a large tree nearby, Liu Hun and Wu Dao hid, watching the scene with eyes wide and exchanged glances filled with shock.
Even now, neither Liu Hun nor Wu Dao could claim they could sever such a tree with one strike, yet these two figures had accomplished it easily, without the slightest difficulty.
After the two figures sliced the tree, they dispersed, searching around for Liu Hun and Wu Dao’s whereabouts.
After searching for a long time, the two returned to Poison Queen, shaking their heads.
“Useless fools, can’t even find a single person!” Poison Queen cursed.
Then her gaze swept around, tinged with puzzlement, choosing to ignore them.
Seeing Poison Queen relax her guard, Liu Hun and Wu Dao finally exhaled a sigh of relief; they had barely escaped from the Gate of Life and Death, only to encounter Poison Queen again, and now, she had two more experts by her side.
“Where on earth did Poison Queen find these two? How can they be so formidable?” Wu Dao stared in shock at Poison Queen’s position ahead, murmuring to Liu Hun beside him, “Could it be Japan has other helpers here?”
“Probably not, if they had help, Poison Queen would have used them already, wouldn’t suffer setbacks, also we didn’t see them when we encountered her, they must have been acquired after we left,” Liu Hun said, eyes narrowing, voice low.
Regardless of Liu Hun or Wu Dao, they had severely antagonized Poison Queen, and there was no chance to resolve their conflict.
If Poison Queen were to become stronger, it would certainly not bode well for them.
“You can’t be serious, I know that result too.” Wu Dao pouted, answering Liu Hun softly.
Liu Hun always ridiculed him, now Wu Dao seized the opportunity, he wouldn’t let it slip.
“I’m not done talking yet, what’s the rush.” Liu Hun rolled his eyes at Wu Dao’s disgruntled look, ignoring it, continuing, “These two have great strength, but look carefully at the neat cut of that tree, obviously severed with brute force, meaning they lack internal power, their physical strength merely explosive; additionally, they act stiffly, oblivious even to surrounding trees.”
“So?” Wu Dao asked Liu Hun, curious.
He noticed the points Liu Hun mentioned but was unclear about Liu Hun’s intention.
“They could very well be puppets!” Liu Hun said, eyes half-closed, solemnly.
“Puppets? That’s impossible…” Wu Dao shook his head, unbelieving.
“It seems your family has been quite ignorant, there’s a force now that can even transform cultivators into puppets, let alone non-cultivators, and if you doubt me, I guarantee you’ll become a puppet in an experiment,” Liu Hun shook his head, sneering. “Impossible, if true, I would’ve heard, never heard my family mention it.” Wu Dao shook his head, face disbelieving.
Liu Hun didn’t explain further, regardless of Wu Dao’s belief; he was probing Wu Dao, hoping Wu Dao would eventually inform his family, who might investigate; whether it would be crucial, Liu Hun couldn’t predict, it was like planting a seed, unpredictable if it would germinate.
If the seed sprouted, it would be a surprise; if it died, it was inconsequential, Liu Hun wasn’t particularly hopeful anyway.
“Let’s discuss this later, what’s important now is eliminating Poison Queen and the rest; she has two maniacs, continuing to move towards our goal, she won’t spare us,” Liu Hun took a deep breath, shifting to reality.
“But as you said, these freaks plus Poison Queen, a poison expert, we’re two against her, likely not opponents,” Wu Dao hesitated.
“Head-on, we’re indeed no match, but I have a trump card, exceptionally effective against non-cultivators,” Liu Hun smirked.
“Trump card? What trump card?” Hearing Liu Hun, Wu Dao’s eyes brightened.
Curious about Liu Hun, Wu Dao was naturally excited hearing his words.
“You’ll know shortly, but next, I need you to stall Poison Queen and the rest, I’ll handle the two by her side,” Liu Hun said, gently pushing Wu Dao.
Wu Dao, unresponsive, fell from the tree, landing harshly with a scream.
“Courting death!” Nearby, Poison Queen heard Wu Dao’s cry, eyes gleaming with cold killing intent.
Before she could speak, a group of people moved, attacking the area where Liu Hun and Wu Dao were located.
“It’s you two!” When the Poison Queen arrived in the field and saw Liu Hun and Wu Dao, a hint of surprise rose in her eyes.
“It’s us, what’s the matter, surprised?” Wu Dao patted his butt as he stood up from the ground, looking arrogant.
“We really are destined to meet, aren’t we? How about we find a quiet place and have a long chat on this long night?” Liu Hun’s lips curled up slightly, gazing at the Poison Queen before him, his eyes filled with invasive scrutiny.
The Poison Queen felt uncomfortable all over, being swept up and down by Liu Hun’s gaze.
“You two were the ones eavesdropping just now, weren’t you? I didn’t expect you two to really make it across that desert,” the Poison Queen said coldly to Liu Hun and Wu Dao, crossing her arms as if to shield some exposed scenery in front of her.
“Ah, thanks to you, if you hadn’t helped us fend off that Yellow Sand Python, we might not have made it here,” Wu Dao, though not as eloquent as Liu Hun, was more than a match for dealing with the Poison Queen.
Sure enough, the Poison Queen’s face grew even darker upon hearing this.
Although she was the one who abandoned Liu Hun and Wu Dao initially, she harbored extreme hatred towards them for the Yellow Sand Python incident; if not for those two, she almost died there.
“In your Huaxia language, we call this ‘narrow aquaintances’, but since we’ve met, don’t blame me for not being polite. Old scores and new will be settled together,” the Poison Queen didn’t want to waste words with them.
“Wait, I’m curious, how exactly did you get out of that desert? And these puppets by your side, did you acquire them there?” Liu Hun asked hurriedly as he saw the Poison Queen about to make a move.
“That’s my business, it has nothing to do with you, and if you want to know the answer, wait until you die, then I’ll tell you!” The Poison Queen’s eyes flashed with a hint of surprise at Liu Hun’s words, though it was fleeting.
Nevertheless, Liu Hun caught the change in the Poison Queen’s eyes.
With a bit of thinking, Liu Hun was utterly certain that these two were puppets; thus, he wasn’t overly worried.
“I’m the young master of the Wu Family; if you dare lay a hand on me, you might not even know how you die,” Wu Dao said arrogantly to the Poison Queen with a cold humph.
Even at this time, Wu Dao didn’t forget to use his status to pressure the Poison Queen.
“Oh, really? There’s no outsider here, even if you die at my hands, who do you think would know? In this eerie place, everyone knows it’s extremely weird and dangerous, so even dying would be quite normal,” the Poison Queen said with a disdainful look in her eyes at Wu Dao’s words.
“Damn, you old hag, is that your plan? I’m telling you, don’t think Wu Dao is so easy to bully; when I go crazy, I even scare myself,” Wu Dao stepped back two steps, pretending to be afraid.
Seeing Wu Dao acting like a clown, a few black lines appeared on Liu Hun’s forehead, and he glanced at Wu Dao before scolding, “Why don’t you say that when you go crazy, you even hit yourself?”
“I’m not an idiot; only women like her with endocrine disorders would do such stupid things.” Wu Dao rebutted Liu Hun while keeping the Poison Queen in the conversation.
Listening to their dialogue, the Poison Queen’s face became increasingly unsightly.
“Kill them!” the Poison Queen finally couldn’t hold back, directly commanding her subordinates beside her.
“I’ll handle your subordinates; as for those two puppets by your side, leave them to Brother Liu,” Wu Dao said, flipping around to avoid those two puppets.
It was just as he dodged, the corner of his eye instinctively glanced at the face beneath the opponent’s black robe.
The sight gave Wu Dao a scare, almost causing him to fall to the ground.
“Damn, what the hell are these things? So terrifying!” Wu Dao exclaimed loudly after dodging.
“These are cyborgs, test subjects left by Japan in the past. I didn’t expect to find them this time, but with these two cyborgs, you’re both doomed today,” the Poison Queen said with a cold tone, slowly speaking to the two.
From the Poison Queen’s words, Liu Hun could even detect a hint of gloat.
However, regarding these cyborgs, Liu Hun couldn’t help but furrow his brows.
He had heard of these cyborgs before, carrying countless germs all over them. If such cyborgs appeared in the secular world, it might cause a massive disaster.
Thinking of this, Liu Hun decided firmly: these two cyborgs must not leave this eerie place, or there would be endless troubles. Also, the Poison Queen before him must be eliminated.
If the Poison Queen escaped, and after returning, reported this matter to those above, the cyborgs might eventually see daylight again. The best way was to eliminate everyone with the Poison Queen; this way, apart from him and Wu Dao, no one else would know about it.
