Chapter 1105: Chapter 1106: Wen Wen Joins the Battle
The so-called Twisted God is the ultimate monster created by Egger based on the characteristics of those Corpse People.
Even with Egger’s Catastrophe-Level strength, he can only create one such monster.
Unless this Twisted God dies, Egger cannot create another monster of the same level.
He placed many concepts on the Twisted God’s body, but he wasn’t sure if these concepts could exist.
Seeing the battle between the Twisted God and the Black Night Knight, Egger finally felt relieved; the current Twisted God is invincible!
The Twisted God’s strength does not lie in its massive body; for Catastrophe-Level experts, body size means little.
Its true power lies in the countless small Corpse People on its body.
The shells of eggs or shellfish are mostly arc-shaped because this can spread the force across the entire shell when attacked at one point, allowing the whole to withstand the blow, thus enhancing defense.
Most superpower users use Energy Shields to defend, based on this principle.
But this is not the case for the Twisted God; no matter how strong the attack, the Twisted God absorbs it, but these attacks at most only affect one corpse creature on its body.
In other words, regardless of the strength of the attack, it can at most only cause a small patch of skin to break on the Twisted God, granting it near-extreme defense capability.
It sounds unreasonable, but Catastrophe-Level, Star Realm Gods, are such unreasonable beings.
The previous fight between the Twisted God and the Black Night Knight was just to test its capabilities; now, Egger would go all out.
His body sank into the Twisted God’s hand, and the Twisted God’s body wriggled and transformed rapidly.
The Black Night Knight seized the opportunity to throw some attacks, trying to interrupt this guy’s transformation, but each attack only caused insignificant harm.
"No wonder he’s brave enough to take me on this time; this thing is interesting..."
"Interesting? It’s more than just interesting; you’ll die here!"
Egger had completed his transformation, starting to stretch his body, experiencing this newfound massive strength.
After fusing with the Twisted God, he became like three people embracing back to back.
But it wasn’t just about gaining an extra pair of arms and legs; his strength, speed, and reaction ability all had a substantial upgrade, and the originally sluggish expression of the Twisted God became agile and lively.
Previously, Egger, facing the Black Night Knight, seemed like a bookish scholar unable to defend himself, but now his muscular strength far surpassed that of the Black Night Knight!
The Black Night Knight took a deep breath, two short swords slid from his sleeves, and he lunged at Egger once again, this time opting for close-quarters combat.
Despite their stark difference in size, one like an ant and the other a giant, their battle caused the ground to shake and mountains to sway.
Wen Wen and Qiao Feiya, the two bystanders, had to dodge and evade with all their might just to safely eat their melon, whereas other creatures in the Black Forest were all but annihilated; luckily, there wasn’t anything of interest, so Wen Wen didn’t mind at all if they were wiped out.
Boom!
The two collided with full force, an impact wave causing a massive circular crater around them, both being sent flying.
The Black Night Knight halted in mid-air, swiftly darting to Wen Wen’s side, grabbing his shoulder and reappearing on the battlefield.
"Why did you call me over? That guy is disgusting," Wen Wen pointed at Egger, repulsed, "Can’t you handle him?"
The Black Night Knight shook his head, "I could handle it, but the cost would be too great; I have a better method."
"This Twisted God seems invincible, but it does have a weakness."
"I discovered from testing earlier that no matter how strong a single hit is, it doesn’t matter; only attacks with moderate strength and sufficient numbers can effectively harm him."
"I’m interested in your Evil Speech Thousand Sword Technique, the sheer number of swords fits perfectly."
Joining such a battle without transforming was tempting for Wen Wen, but he quickly asked, "Though my attacks are numerous, their individual power is lacking, possibly not even enough to break through the defense."
The Black Night Knight patted his belt again, revealing a half-circle Bronze Door, which slowly opened to reveal a vast whiteness inside.
"Before your swords fly out, passing through this will effectively harm him."
After just a brief exchange, Egger was already attacking again.
"Time is tight, less talk, you handle the attacking, leave the rest to me!"
Wen Wen nodded, took a deep breath, drew the Blood River Sword, and initiated the Evil Speech Thousand Sword Technique.
The Black Night Knight’s words were clear to Wen Wen.
In gaming terms, current Egger, no matter how strong the attack, would only suffer a single point of real damage.
While the Black Night Knight’s output was phenomenal, dealing millions of damage in a single shot, these big moves only made Egger lose a single point of health.
Wen Wen, however, was different. Though his damage was low, with one move dealing a maximum of 10,000 damage, it was executed in 10,000 instances, causing Egger to suffer 10,000 points of real damage.
Tens of thousands of black Light Swords, under Wen Wen’s command, flew through the Bronze Door and transformed into white Light Swords upon passing through.
During this, Egger swung two punches in Wen Wen’s direction, but each was blocked by the Black Night Knight, preventing any disturbance to Wen Wen.
Once all the Energy Swords were fully converted, Wen Wen waved his hand at Egger, and the white Light Swords flew towards him.
Egger’s body was absurdly large, but due to its flexibility, it could still evade Wen Wen’s attacks; however, with the Black Night Knight’s containment, he was forced to endure Wen Wen’s attacks.
Each Light Sword that pierced into Egger’s body turned the impaled corpse creature into a pool of blood, with the effectiveness surpassing Wen Wen’s expectations.
Moments later, Egger’s massive body had multiple ruptures, his aura significantly weakened.
While continuously attacking, Wen Wen brought back a white Light Sword to study it, realizing it hadn’t grown stronger, instead losing its attack attribute.
After pondering for a few seconds, he understood that the nature of the Light Gate was likely converting offensive energy into healing energy.
Normally, this wouldn’t be suitable for combat, but for a twisted and flesh-bound monster like Egger, healing power became a poison.
Thus, these Light Swords formed a restraining effect on Egger, causing him effective harm.
Wen Wen looked bizarrely at the Black Night Knight’s belt, wondering just how many powerful artifacts it contained.
He always prided himself on having many methods, but compared to the Black Night Knight, he fell considerably short.
Probably, if Egger hadn’t abruptly become Catastrophe-Level, the Black Night Knight would have no difficulty dealing with him, with various restraining measures able to completely subdue him.
