Ruan Jiaojiao wasn’t really here to learn; her main intent was to create more interactions between her uncle and Teacher Gu.
On her left were Shu Lang and Gu Zichen, and on her right were Ruan Lei and Yang Tao. She glanced at one side and then the other, completely losing her interest in learning.

Ruan Jiaojiao had no idea what her actions had brought upon her as she walked ahead with her arm around Yang Tao, looking mischievous. “Yang Tao, are you hiding something from me?”
“…” Yang Tao blushed, her eyes shyly darting around.
She hadn’t intended to hide anything from Ruan Jiaojiao; it was just that she hadn’t clarified things with Ruan Lei yet. Mentioning it now seemed a little presumptuous.
She herself didn’t even understand why she’d suddenly started liking Ruan Lei. After all, she had personally witnessed his previous embarrassing stories, yet recalling them now, she found them rather adorable?!
“You’re hiding from me, and my brother is hiding from me too. You’re both so mean.” Ruan Jiaojiao deliberately pouted, pretending to be a little unhappy.
Seeing this, Yang Tao panicked, stopped, and urgently turned to her. “Jiaojiao, don’t be mad, I didn’t mean to, I do sort of like your brother…” Due to her panic, she inadvertently raised her voice and ended up shouting it out, causing even the three people behind them to hear.
