Chapter 533: Why her? Why didn’t you ask me?
Idan, having exchanged places with Arabel, did not wait and immediately returned to his territory.
To his surprise, he found Lucinda there, who had already come to visit and was studying the artificial sky, where the elements of Light and Darkness merged in harmony.
Idan gladly took the opportunity and asked Lucinda to become his sparring partner. She readily agreed, and soon they were in the sky, where Idan, transformed into the Alpha of Fire, engaged in an intense battle with Lucinda.
Idan couldn’t restrain himself, giving his all.
During the battle, Lucinda used a spear of Light that was already familiar to Idan, similar to the one wielded by the Guardian of Light.
Despite the rank restriction, due to her rich experience, Lucinda easily suppressed Idan and prevailed over him. After a brief standoff, she sent him down with a strong spear thrust, where he fell right in front of Arabel, who had just appeared.
“What the hell is going on here?” asked Arabel with a serious expression on her face.
She wasn’t thrilled to see Idan injured and in such a state, especially considering his wide smile, as if he was enjoying it all.
The smile disappeared from Idan’s face, and he felt goosebumps run through his body, and sweat broke out on his forehead. He had rarely seen Arabel so serious, and especially when her gaze was directed at him and not at someone else.
“Ah, Belle… let’s talk in private, without prying eyes,” Idan asked, noticing that his battle with Lucinda, the purpose of which was to get rid of the influence of the Energy of Madness, attracted the attention of the guests of their house.
He saw his mother among them. Idan quickly put on a mask to hide his identity from her gaze.
“Okay,” — Arabel said, lifting her head and meeting Lucinda’s gaze.
“Should I leave?” asked Lucinda, watching Arabel’s angry expression as she stared at her.
“No, stay, big sister, I’m sure it was Dan who asked you to fight him,” Arabel shook her head, sighing. “Did you come alone?”
“Yes,” Lucinda replied, scattering the spear of Light. “Due to the time difference and the fact that it flows faster here, we decided to come one at a time, rather than all at once.”
“That’s right, make yourself at home,” — Arabel said, and Lucinda nodded in agreement.
“Hailey, come show these three guests the place and the house, and keep an eye on them,” Arabel asked before leaving with Idan. They opened the Access Portal and returned to the same street.
With their departure, everyone’s attention shifted to Edgar, who was staring at Lucinda with dreamy eyes and the two girls hiding behind his back.
“Succubi?” Lucinda quickly identified the race of the two girls, and her surprise was obvious.
“Ah, beautiful goddess, do you know about my younger sisters’ race?” asked Edgar with a smile.
“The goddess?” Lucinda laughed. No one had ever compared her to a goddess, and she found it funny.
At that moment, Hailey came up to them. Noticing Edgar’s amorous and dreamy gaze, she shook her head.

Idan and Arabel, having appeared in the capital under the cover of the bloodline of the Dark Valkyrie Arabel, returned to their room at the Royal Grand Hall Hotel.
“So it’s all about the Energy of Madness?” Arabel asked after listening carefully to Idan’s explanation.
“Yes, I was overconfident, believing that I had already mastered the Energy of Madness, but reality proved to me that I was wrong,” admitted Idan.
“Is that why you asked Lucinda to help you calm your emotions?” Arabel asked, remembering their first mistake after changing bloodlines, when they both hugged under the influence of their powers.
“Yes,” Idan nodded.
“Why her? Why didn’t you ask me?” Arabel asked, a little offended, and Idan caught a hint of envy in her words.
“Well, first of all, she was the first person I saw after returning to the territory, and besides, she was the only one who could stand up to me and even surpass me. It allowed me to not hold back, which helped a lot,” Idan replied.
“I didn’t come to you because I don’t want to hurt you, Belle. You’re strong, just like me, and if I tried to hit you, you’d get hurt, just like me. And I don’t want that. Besides, it doesn’t seem right to raise your hand against your girlfriend,” admitted Idan.
Arabel felt a little comforted by Idan’s confession, and her resentment towards him began to subside. However, she still didn’t like that he had turned to Lucinda for help.
“Tell me honestly, Dan, do you like Lucinda?” Arabel asked bluntly.
Arabel’s question surprised Idan and made him think. When he saw that she was waiting for his answer, he hesitated for a moment and said:
“Hmm… to be honest, she’s very beautiful, there’s no doubt about that. But do I like her? As a girl, no, but as your older sister, yes.”
“So you like her after all?” Arabel asked resentfully.
“Belle, I told you that I like her as your older sister, not as a girl. I don’t have the same feelings for her that I have for you,” Idan replied, hugging Arabel. She tried to resist a little, but quickly gave up.
“Dan, when you and older sister were in the Lava Lake, did she do anything to you and did she see you naked?” Arabel asked, burying her face in Idan’s chest. She had already asked this question before, but then she did not specify if she had seen him without clothes.
“No, Belle, she didn’t do anything to me, I told you so,” Idan repeated, feeling sincerely grateful to Lucinda for the help she had given him at that moment.
“But if you’re asking if she saw me naked, then yes,” — Idan did not hide, realizing that Arabel expected an honest answer.
Arabel lifted her head and looked into his eyes.
“Dan, tell me, would you like it if another man saw me naked?” she asked.
“Of course not!” replied Idan quickly and decisively. “I would have gouged out their eyes!”
“Now tell me, Dan, how does it feel for me to hear you admit that another girl saw you naked?” Arabel continued without looking away.
Idan didn’t know how to answer this question correctly.
But Arabel’s gaze forced him to answer.
“I’m sorry, Belle,” Idan said, addressing her with sincere regret. “What happened wasn’t Lucinda’s fault, but only my carelessness.”
“But I give you my word that from now on I will be very attentive and will not appear naked in front of anyone but you, okay?” promised Idan confidently.
Hearing his words, Arabel felt embarrassed and lowered her gaze.
“Okay, I believe you,” she said, deciding to believe in his sincerity.
Idan finally breathed a sigh of relief, but outwardly remained unperturbed.
“Dan, if you’re ready to gouge out the eyes of all the men who see me naked, then what should I do with my older sister?” Arabel asked, and there was a hint of irony in her voice.
