Chapter 517: On the eve of a date

Chapter 517: On the eve of a date

After sending Arslan away, Arabel took on the form of a Dark Valkyrie again and soared into the sky. Having risen high enough, she had the opportunity to explore the entire territory.

"Is it just me, or is the space inside the barrier larger than its outer size?" wondered Arabel. She hadn’t paid attention to it before, but now, looking at the area inside the barrier, she actually noticed that the space seemed to be larger than the barrier itself from the outside.

Arabel decided to discuss this with Idan later and turned her gaze to the rings of the seasons surrounding the central area.

The ring of the seasons occupied a large, vast territory, which had its own ecosystem. The only thing missing here were the living creatures.

There were meadows, forests, small ponds, and even deserted places. The whole area seemed to be an almost ideal place for keeping beasts or growing rare resources.

"We’ll have to tame and catch a few beasts, release them here and see if they can take root and how it affects them," Arabel whispered.

"If I could think about it, then Dan has probably already come up with something more interesting for this whole area. We’ll need to discuss this later," she made a note.

When Arabel thought about growing resources, she could only think of one elf friend who could manipulate plants. She decided to invite Eulalia here and get her opinion after she comes out of seclusion as a high elf.

After enjoying the beauty of the landscape once more, Arabel went down to the green lawn in front of her house. She regained her Dark Valkyrie appearance and took off her Ghost Mask, revealing her true identity before crossing the threshold of her home.

Irene, Arslan, Esma, Hazel and Yulaya were waiting for her in the living room. The two new guests couldn’t stop wondering as they listened to Irene and Arslan’s explanations and examined the interiors of the house.

"Little sister, you’re finally here," Esma was the first to notice, and everyone present immediately noticed her.

Yulaya and Hazel had met Arabel before, but when they saw her in her true form again, they couldn’t help but admire her beauty.

"So it’s really her!" exclaimed Hazel, and Yulaya nodded in agreement.

"Nice to see you again, Miss Yulaya and Miss Hazel," Arabel greeted them.

"Ah! We are very glad to see you too. And we are so glad that you are all right," Yulaya said, remembering how Arabel and Idan disappeared inside the portal that day.

"Uh—huh, uh-huh," Hazel nodded, agreeing with her.

Arabel joined the conversation and, listening to Irene and Arslan’s explanations of what was going on, simply complemented them with her comments. Not being as familiar with these two as Irene and Arslan, Arabel decided to provide an explanation for what was happening to these two.

The girls had a lot of questions, from what happened back then to the details about this house and all this amazing territory.

Arslan and Irene did not have all the information and shared only what they knew themselves. Arabel, on the other hand, did not reveal all the cards, adding only what she considered necessary.

"Continue without me, I’ll go to my room," Arabel said with excitement in her voice.

Leaving everyone, she quickly went up the stairs.

It was getting close to evening, and Idan would be back soon.

"Was it my imagination, or was your sister excited about something?" Irene asked Arslan.

"Hehe, little sister is really excited," Esma confirmed instead of Arslan. "Thanks to our contract, if I’m around her and I want to, I can pick up on her mood."

While everyone was looking at each other, Esma added, "If I’m not mistaken, Idan should be back soon."

"Oh," everyone sighed, and then smiled, realizing Arabel’s action.

Arabel went up to the second floor and, entering the bedroom with the Lovers’ Plate, laid out all her new outfits on the huge bed, which she had bought today with the girls from the Red Foxes. She began sorting through them, trying to choose the perfect image for the upcoming date that both she and Idan would like.

Arabel spent a lot of time thinking, but she couldn’t make up her mind. Realizing that she had wasted too much time, she decided to postpone the choice until later and hurried to the bathroom to quickly refresh herself in the shower.

Being very worried about the upcoming date, Arabel did not notice the little fox that had been following her all this time. After seeing her enter the bathroom and start undressing, Coco took off her small backpack, pulled out her camera and began preparing to take juicy photos of her Mistress, not losing hope of selling them to the Master for sweets in the future.

Standing under the cool shower, Arabel wondered why she was so nervous. Although she had spent a lot of time with Idan before. Most recently, they even took a short walk through the snowy Northern City and had dinner at a local restaurant.

After the shower, Arabel quickly cleaned herself up, managing the water, and went back to choosing an outfit.

Soon, a portal opened at the entrance to the house, and Idan appeared from it in the form of Ignis. He was wearing elegant black shirt and black trousers.

Idan didn’t have time to go shopping and get ready for tonight. Instead, he slightly changed the style of his uniform and chose an outfit that he thought was perfect for the upcoming event.

Knowing that his mother should have already moved here, Idan decided not to reveal his identity yet. At least not today. This evening was meant to be a date with Arabel, not a family reunion.

When Idan entered the house, he saw his sister Irene, Arslan, Esma and two new guests.

"Oh, who’s back here?" Esma asked with a smile, noticing his appearance.

They all looked with interest at Idan in the image of Ignis and, noticing his outfit, smiled, quickly putting two and two together.

"Hello, everyone," — Idan greeted everyone. Noticing the two girls’ gaze, he immediately realized that they knew his true identity.

"Where’s Belle?" asked Idan of those present.

Before Irene could reply that she was upstairs, everyone heard hurried footsteps coming down the stairs.

The eyes of everyone present turned to the beautiful girl, who quickly climbed the last few steps and appeared at the bottom.

Arabel was wearing a light blouse made of light fabric, which gave her a romantic look. Her skirt was spacious enough not to restrict her movements, and elegant ballet flats completed the look.

Among the accessories, she chose a fancy bracelet that perfectly matched her style, and a small handbag with chains.

"Ah," everyone sighed, including Idan.

"You look just fine," Idan finally said, approaching Arabel.

Arabel was very excited and delighted by his praise. She also liked the reaction of others, especially Irene and Arslan.

Looking at Idan in the form of Ignis, she pouted slightly, but quickly realized his intentions and forgave him.

"Are you ready?" asked Idan, holding out his hand.

"Of course," Arabel replied happily, taking his hand.

"Well, let us take our leave," Idan said, turning to the others.

"Have a nice evening," Irene said, and everyone wished them a good evening.

"Let’s go," Idan said, waving his hand and opening an Access Portal that took them to the hotel room where they spent a couple of days after their arrival in the capital. After returning from Limbo, Idan appeared here, and then returned to the territory through the Access Portal.

Arabel smiled back, took out the Ghost Mask and assumed the image of Elsa. She carefully chose an outfit that combined her true appearance and the image of Elsa.

They were going to take a walk around the capital, and both of them didn’t want to reveal their true identities yet. At least until their System is fully unblocked. Both already knew and accepted that for this they needed to formalize their marriage.
