Chapter 524: Are you, their Master?

Chapter 524: Are you, their Master?

As soon as Irene and Yulaya left the territory and gained access to the network, they immediately contacted trusted representatives from their guilds and mobilized all available members.

Irene and Yulaya were very popular among the members of their guilds. When the news of the summoning from the leaders spread, not only the awakened ones, but also the ordinary employees of both guilds immediately took action.

Soon, all the listed addresses were surrounded and uncoupled by members of both guilds, and a massive check of all tenants began.

One of these places is the still-operating Moonlite Spoon restaurant.

One of the groups of the Queens Guild surrounded the restaurant and began to disperse the long queue of people who wanted to eat.

"Master, master, there’s something going on!" - Ashley ran into the kitchen in a panic.

"What is it this time?" After working all day, Edgar was tired and not in a good mood. The restaurant’s opening hours were coming to an end, and he didn’t want any more problems. He wanted to serve the last of the guests and finally close the restaurant to rest.

When he saw the two energetic girls, he wanted to swear, but they were so sweet and cheerful that he, as an older brother, could only admire them and suffer quietly.

Ashley and her sister Emily were closely associated with Edgar, and their existence largely depended on him. Moreover, he had the ability to transmit the girls’ fatigue directly to him. Because of this, even being one of the few naturally awakened ones, he quickly got tired.

"There... there..." Ashley couldn’t say a word in her panic.

Edgar finished serving another dish, wiped his hands, and only then turned his attention to Ashley.

Emily was silently stirring a large saucepan, holding a large ladle in her hands, and her tail was involved in working with the pan — she was stirring its contents with a spatula.

Loud noises and shouts of dissatisfied customers could be heard from the hall.

Edgar frowned, immediately sensing something was amiss. Seeing the panic on Ashley and Emily’s faces, he pulled himself together like an older brother and decided to check what was going on.

But before he could leave the kitchen, a slender and beautiful girl in a Guild uniform entered it. After entering, she looked around and checked the entire kitchen not only with her own eyes, but also with the Soul Force.

The pressure of Soul Force coming from the girl immediately made Edgar and the two girls feel fear. They realized that they were facing an experienced Golden-ranked Awakened.

Edgar himself only recently, with great difficulty, was able to reach the Silver rank.

The guest, looking around, made sure that there was no one except the three in front of her.

She was amazed when she saw two girls with two horns and slightly reddish skin. But soon she was seized with curiosity, and she began to examine them with interest.

These girls were incredibly adorable. At first glance, she realized that they were not from their world. Most likely, they were outsiders or creatures that the Awakened One had summoned. And in this situation, the only young and handsome guy present in the kitchen was ideally suited for the role of such a person.

The girls cowered in fright and quickly hid behind Edgar.

Edgar, in turn, studied the guest carefully. When he saw the emblem of one of the most famous Guilds, the Guild of Queens, on her left breast, he immediately recognized her.

"Are you, their Master?" the girl asked.

"Yes," Edgar replied, not trying to deny the obvious.

"Show me your Awakened ID," the guest demanded.

"Um...I don’t have one," Edgar said with an awkward smile, admitting that he wasn’t registered as an awakened one.

"No?" the girl frowned. "Are you a natural awakened one?"

"Yes," Edgar nodded.

The girl wasn’t very surprised, but she noticed that the number of natural awakened ones has been growing lately.

The girl introduced herself as Nayla, one of the vice leaders of the Queens Guild. Edgar, following her, also gave his name.

While Nayla was interrogating Edgar, two more charming girls entered the kitchen.

Edgar couldn’t take his eyes off them, admiring their beauty. However, while he was enjoying their presence, two little girls noticed this and pinched his side at the same time.

"Ouch!" — Edgar exclaimed, and the girls from the Queens Guild took notice of him.

"Okay, take them away and seal the restaurant for a while," Nayla instructed.

"What?" Edgar asked in surprise. "What’s going on? And why are you here?"

"You are suspected of collaborating with people who kidnap and sell young girls. And also, that you drugged ordinary people with enchanted food. Besides, being awake, you still haven’t reported yourself or registered. Continue?" Nayla asked.

"No, you don’t have to," Edgar said, not trying to justify himself. He decided to give up.

"Maybe it’s for the best," he told himself, looking at Ashley and Emily.

Edgar had suspicions that even if he paid the debt to "those" people, they would hardly let him go just like that.

All the girls from the Queens Guild were awakened. They noticed that the young man was not resisting and was ready to follow them. With the help of their soul power, they turned off all the appliances in the kitchen and left it, leading Edgar and his so-called "younger sisters".

By this time, the other members of the Queens Guild group had already managed to disperse the queue and the customers, as well as detain all the restaurant staff.

"The job is done, and everything went smoothly, without incident," one of the girls reported.

"Great," — Nayla nodded. "Then let’s go."

After quickly loading all the restaurant staff into the cars, the Queens Guild group left the scene before the police and military arrived.

The sudden movement of the two Guilds did not go unnoticed. Soon, footage of the raids of both Guilds, filmed by eyewitnesses, began to appear on the network, which caused a wave of questions.

However, no one suspected that there was another, third force at work in the dark at that time.
