Chapter 389: Stay back!
In the east of the Dark Valley, at a considerable distance from the portal, explosions and rumbles were constantly thundering. The ground shook from the impacts, and all the dark trees were uprooted and scattered around. The ground was partially covered with ice—ordinary, dark and purple-pink. There were long ragged cuts on the ground.
Boom!
Another powerful explosion raised a large cloud of dust.
"Cough cough," coughing, a dark figure flew out of the cloud of dust.
Her right arm was missing, and her whole body was scarred and bleeding dark blood. Her long hair was in disarray, and her face was flushed with anger and rage.
"Bitch!" she swore.
Unleashing her Soul Force, she looked around for someone, but couldn’t find anyone, and her anger only increased.
"You won’t run away from me!" she screamed at the top of her voice.

Not far from the explosion site, another lone figure appeared among the dark trees. She could clearly hear the echoes of that woman’s scream behind her. Unlike her, this figure had all the limbs in place, but the left arm was barely holding on, almost all the bones were crushed.
In her right hand, she was barely holding a beautiful blue double-edged blade covered with cracks with an elegant guard.
Arabel fell to her knees and spat out a huge amount of blood. She was panting and trying to catch her breath. Her body ached with pain, and it was getting heavier by the second.
When she opened her status, she saw that her basic stats had already dropped.

Extra Stats:
_Madness Energy – 3 / 613
Arabel’s madness energy boost ended prematurely as soon as her energy score reached zero. At the moment, only three units of energy have recovered.
But Arabel somehow managed to escape before it was over.
"I... overestimated... myself..." she muttered. "The diamond rank is no joke... but... now I know... that a simple... increase... in stats is no match... for a real being... of rank 5..."
Arabel was in unbearable pain, and she wanted to cry, but she restrained herself. She regretted that she had decided to engage in a duel with a Diamond-ranked creature instead of running away at the very beginning. At the same time, she was a little proud of herself, because now she knew what creatures of this level were capable of.
While she was trying to catch her breath, a small rift appeared next to her, from which a little fox jumped out. When she appeared, she looked at her mistress with concern.
"Coco..." Arabel said happily, looking at the little fox.
"You’re just incredible, Coco... You did everything I wanted.... You’ll get your reward..." she said, barely catching her breath.
After hearing about the reward, Coco beamed for a moment, but then her face became restless again when she saw all the wounds and the blood of the Mistress in front of her.
"Let’s... go..." Arabel said, trying to stand up. She could still hear that woman screaming in the distance.
Arabel couldn’t stay here any longer. She wanted to find a safe place and get some rest.
"Ah..." she moaned in pain, but gritting her teeth, she struggled to her feet and began to walk away, trying not to attract attention.
"I hope Dan’s okay," she whispered, still not canceling the "exchange of stats" ability, fearing that if she did, she wouldn’t be able to move at all for a while.
After walking some distance away and finding a secluded spot, she opened the Access Door and decided to enter the spatial storage to rest and recover.
Lifting Coco with her right hand, she went inside as soon as the Access Door opened.
Once inside the bright space illuminated by artificial lighting, she finally breathed a sigh of relief.
She fell to her knees and, without wasting a second, canceled the "exchange of characteristics", returning Idan to his stats.
"Oh, it hurts," — Arabel moaned, feeling her strength weaken again. She could only rely on her Dark Phoenix bloodline now. However, at the same time, Arabel also freed herself from the last force that was holding her body back and preventing her bloodline from starting to recover.
The guests of the spatial storage also noticed Arabel’s sudden appearance. Up to this point, they had all been busy taking care of the twenty-three new Awakened Ones who had suddenly appeared in this place.
When they all heard from the five new girls where they came from and how they got here, they were very surprised.
"What? You’re not joking, are you?" Some of them couldn’t believe their ears when they found out that a single girl had blocked the path of ten platinum-ranked creatures that were leading them somewhere. In a split second, she killed five of them, saving all of these awakened ones at the same time.
"Ah! It’s her!" one of the girls exclaimed when she saw Arabel’s appearance. Although Arabel’s appearance had changed again, the awakened ones recognized her immediately.
A roar arose, and many, seeing Arabel’s condition, rushed forward, especially the guys.
"Stay back!" growled Arabel, noticing the Awakened Ones rushing towards her.
Some of them, including the leaders of the Wings of Freedom and Red Sails guilds, stopped after listening to Arabel’s words. However, the third group did not do this and continued to move towards her.
The leader of this group was especially active, who had not taken his eyes off Arabel before.
Noticing that some people did not listen to her words, Arabel became seriously angry. She didn’t want strangers, especially guys, to approach her while she was in a weakened state.
This was her and Idan’s private space, a place that belonged to both of them. They were the owners of this place, and as guests, they had to respect her words.
Especially considering that she and Idan risked their lives to save these people, and they didn’t even bother to listen to her words.
Forgetting about the pain and fatigue, Arabel gathered all her platinum-ranked power and released a little recovered Soul Force, bringing it down on all these guys, smearing them on the ground of the spatial storage.
She still hadn’t taken off their slave collars, and they were still depressed. The force that fell on them was colossal. Arabel broke a lot of bones in most of them.
She didn’t kill them, but she didn’t show any mercy either.
"Ahhh!" the boys groaned in pain. They all looked at Arabel in horror, and the leader, humiliated the most, added insult to fear.
