Chapter 336: Chapter 334 The Ending Missy is Looking Forward To_1

Aozawa finished group training and returned home. He didn’t ring the doorbell but used his Smart Door Card to swipe on the door. He pushed open the intricate iron gate, feeling somewhat uncomfortable with the large villa before him.

Perhaps it was the short time he had lived there that made him feel it was not as good as the three-bedroom, one-living-room apartment he had before. Back then, as soon as he came home, he could see Morimoto Chiyoda busy in the kitchen. Now, a thick wall stood between them.

He went around to the side, opened the main door, entered the entryway, and placed his shoes inside the large, empty shoe cabinet.

Aozawa headed towards the living room.

As he walked down the runway-like corridor, Morimoto Chiyoda, having just finished in the kitchen, came towards him.

Her long black hair spilled over her shoulders. She was dressed in the uniform of the Police Director, with four sun-shaped epaulets on each shoulder. It seemed she had unbuttoned three buttons on her light blue shirt due to the heat from cooking. This turned what should have been a stern director’s uniform into something full of temptation. Her deep blue skirt was hitched up a bit, her fair, long legs covered in deep blue stockings, and she wore bright red high heels. She swung her narrow waist. With each step, her heels echoed with a CLICK-CLACK. The seductive fragrance of her perfume permeated the cool air.

"Aozawa, you seem to be preoccupied."

Morimoto Chiyoda approached, immediately noticing his state was different from usual.

Aozawa smiled. "I can’t hide what I’m thinking from you, Chitose."

Morimoto Chiyoda gave him a sidelong glance. "You just want me to comfort you. Tell me, what happened?"

As she spoke, her right hand wrapped around Aozawa’s shoulder, ready to listen to his troubles.

Aozawa breathed in her perfume, a bitter smile on his face. Side by side with Morimoto Chiyoda, they entered the living room. "Tomorrow, a transfer student is coming to our class," he said. "He’s a young master from Moscow, and he’s somewhat interested in Maggie."

"Ah, that young miss from Phoenix Academy." Morimoto Chiyoda’s drawn-out voice conveyed her understanding of his worries.

If it were one-on-one, Aozawa naturally wouldn’t worry. But considering he wanted to establish a harem, his confidence regarding Phoenix Academy Maggie wasn’t so ample.

"Am I being a bit selfish?"

"Indeed." Morimoto Chiyoda nodded, acknowledging his point, then brought the dishes from the window sill to the table.

Aozawa helped with the dishes, complaining, "Chitose, do you really want to comfort me? I feel like you’re rubbing salt in my wound."

"I’m just speaking the truth." Morimoto Chiyoda turned her head. "Talking about other girls in front of me, what else would you call it but selfish? But I’m happy about this kind of selfishness in you. I’m glad you’re not one of those saints who doesn’t care about anything."

Morimoto Chiyoda touched his head, her face gentle as she spoke. "It’s okay to be a bit selfish. It’s normal to feel jealousy and worry; those aren’t shameful feelings. What’s scary is bottling those thoughts up inside, letting them twist your heart into darkness, and then manifesting as actual actions. That’s when it becomes perverted. I’m happy that you’re willing to talk to me about these things."

"Chitose, can I lean on you?"

"You really are a child. At times like this, this is exactly what you should do." Morimoto Chiyoda cradled his cheeks, bent down, and they kissed, exchanging saliva.

Aozawa’s lips gradually moved from Morimoto Chiyoda’s, sliding down her swan-like neck to her soft, yielding flesh.

"AH~~" Morimoto Chiyoda’s breathing grew heavier, her hands holding the back of Aozawa’s head as she caressed his back with motherly tenderness.

Aozawa felt like a pig, coveting the strawberries hidden at the bottom of the trough, frustrated that some incompetent craftsman had dug it too deep, making it impossible for him to reach them no matter how hard he tried. Damn it, these clothes are such a nuisance! Aozawa wished he could turn into a wolf right then and rip off those troublesome clothes with his fangs.

Noticing his rising ferocity, Morimoto Chiyoda pinched the back of his neck. "Alright, you little pig, if you’re hungry, the food is on the table."

"Chitose, it’s so hot today. A shirt alone is enough; you don’t need to wear those bothersome things underneath." Aozawa looked up, his tone slightly resentful. He couldn’t bite through them at all.

Morimoto Chiyoda looked at the red marks on her chest. This boy is treating me like sugarcane to be gnawed on, she thought.

"Go on now." She patted Aozawa’s forehead. "Time to eat."

"Okay." Aozawa knew he couldn’t push too far in one day. He had to gradually break through Chitose’s remaining defenses.

「The next day, early morning.」

Phoenix Academy Maggie woke up on time, changed into her Brilliant High School uniform, and with the maids assisting—one carrying water, another toothpaste—completed her morning routine and stepped into the dining room.

Miwa Kazuki stood beside her, beginning to recount the previous day’s events within the conglomerate, as well as the agenda for the current day. Although Kochou had arranged these matters before she left, even the closest confidant was no substitute for one’s own daughter. For significant company decisions, Phoenix Academy Maggie needed to help monitor things to alleviate the pressure on Kochou, who was far away.

"How is Mother doing in the United States?"

"Well, Madam has encountered some resistance with her work there. The White House insists that the experimental site must be located within the United States itself, and all talent must work in the U.S. Any results are to be shared with Japan."

"They really do have the audacity of bandits." Phoenix Academy Maggie complained. She was also aware that such outrageous demands would never be accepted. If everything were moved to the United States, the moment there were results, Japan wouldn’t be informed; it would all be swallowed whole.

"Yes, Madam is currently negotiating," Miwa Kazuki replied, and was about to continue with other matters.

Suddenly, Phoenix Academy Maggie asked, "Is Peter still alive?"

Miwa Kazuki paused slightly and nodded. "Regarding Peter, there has been no news of his death. The ones Dio killed last night were from the Osaka Jigokudan Dolphin Group."

"Oh." Phoenix Academy Maggie responded, feeling a wave of relief. She had genuinely feared waking up this morning to find that Dio had killed Peter. Such an act wouldn’t make her feel Aozawa’s love for her was any deeper; it would only be terrifying. Killing everyone who pursued her—that would be a possessive obsession bordering on madness.

As Phoenix Academy Maggie mused on this, she ate her breakfast bite by bite. She couldn’t completely dismiss the possibility that Aozawa had nothing to do with Dio, but the likelihood was minuscule—a mere one percent. Actually, she had a surefire way to test this: jump off a tall building. If Aozawa truly were Dio, he would never stand idly by. But that method undoubtedly meant exploiting Aozawa’s love for her, forcing him to confess. Phoenix Academy Maggie didn’t want to resort to such an extreme measure. She preferred to find some concrete evidence. She found this game of exposing Aozawa’s slip-ups and inching closer to the secret quite interesting. Of course, a part of her also wasn’t ready to truly uncover the secret. If the secret were truly uncovered, it would mean her feelings for Aozawa could no longer be hidden, unlike the current situation where there was still some ambiguity. She knew that Aozawa knew she liked him. Aozawa also knew she liked him. They were drawing closer under this mutual, unspoken understanding. This also provided her with a buffer in case her attempt to monopolize Aozawa failed. She considered this strategy effective. This was evident from the dispute between Aozawa and Peter the previous day. If Aozawa merely considered her a normal friend, he obviously wouldn’t have gotten into a dispute with Peter over her.

As Phoenix Academy Maggie considered this, she also felt it was necessary to talk to Aozawa. She couldn’t let Aozawa fight for her sake without offering some indication of her own feelings.

「It was almost time for class.」

Aozawa and Ayatsuki Iroha entered the classroom side by side, then parted ways at the door. He walked to his seat.

Phoenix Academy Maggie, sitting in front of him, suddenly turned around, her presence quickly taking up most of his empty desk space as she leaned towards him.

"Good morning, Aozawa."

"Good morning, Maggie." Aozawa returned the greeting, placed his backpack and thermos into his desk drawer, and asked, "You seem to be in a good mood today. Did something nice happen?"

"Last night, I had the best sleep ever." Phoenix Academy Maggie replied with a smile, her eyes curving and lips slightly upturned. "Guess what wonderful thing happened?"

"My meager imagination can’t fathom the happy events of a rich young lady. Just tell me," Aozawa answered with a shrug.

Phoenix Academy Maggie lightly slapped his arm, pouting. "You’re just lazy; don’t use that as an excuse. Last night, I watched a fascinating movie. The male lead dueled with a rival for the female lead and won decisively. The ending had the main couple together in a sweet, one-on-one scene. Watching movie endings like that naturally lifts one’s spirits."

"Is that so? I prefer harmonious harem endings. Only a man who doesn’t disappoint any good girl is a true man," Aozawa subtly stated his position.

Phoenix Academy Maggie’s eyes narrowed slightly. She hummed lightly, then slapped his arm again, somewhat angrily. "I almost forgot you’re such a heartless playboy."

"I must correct that slightly. I am merely amorous, never a playboy. I’m a sincere and responsible person," Aozawa defended himself. He believed from the bottom of his heart that there was a clear distinction between himself and a playboy.

"HMPH." Phoenix Academy Maggie let out a disdainful snort and continued, "Peter will be transferring to our class today. He’s the son of the eldest son of the Granovsky Family, excellent in his studies, an all-around athlete, and has long been considered a future presidential candidate."

"I know he’s outstanding."

"Don’t interrupt; I haven’t finished." Phoenix Academy Maggie shot him a look. Although she enjoyed the scent of jealousy in the air, she still needed to make things clear. "I am the heir to the Phoenix Academy family. It’s impossible for me to marry out. There’s absolutely no chance of anything happening between him and me."

"Oh."

"Idiot." Phoenix Academy Maggie flicked his forehead, then stopped leaning over his desk and turned back to sit properly.

The DING-DONG of the class bell rang.

Aozawa took out his textbook and placed it on his desk.

The teacher entered the classroom, followed by two blonde transfer students. One of them was on crutches and had conspicuous bandages on his neck.

"Before class starts, let me introduce them. Today, our class welcomes two transfer students from Russia."
