Chapter 1574: Forcing Jasmine Yale

Chapter 1574: Chapter 1574: Forcing Jasmine Yale

"Mr. Cheney, I went to the Four Seasons Hotel, as per your considerations, so I didn’t get too involved, and I’ve returned."

"I see."

"Mr. Cheney, is there anything else you need me to do?"

"Did you get home safely?"

"Yes, I happened to pick up little 11, and we came back together."

Sylvan Cheney heard a sense of relaxation and briskness in Lilac Serval’s tone, without any pressure.

"Good to be home."

"Mr. Cheney, are you still planning to interfere with Joan Harry?"

"I don’t meddle in other people’s personal lives; however, if her life is in danger, I would still save her."

Lilac Serval understood Sylvan Cheney’s stance and attitude.

"Mr. Cheney, when are you going to Cakago?"

"Once everything’s settled at the Cheney Family."

"Alright, if you need anything, just call me. I’m at your service anytime."

Sylvan Cheney stood by the window, casually chatting with Lilac Serval. He roughly knew that Lilac was still with that boy called "little 11" at the moment.

He never interferes with others’ personal lives, and who Lilac is with doesn’t concern him.

When he was on the phone, Jasmine Yale had just come out of the shower, barefoot on the furry carpet.

Seeing him on the phone, Jasmine didn’t come closer, using a dry towel to wipe her hair.

When Sylvan Cheney saw Jasmine come out, he hung up the phone.

"A call from Lilac." Sylvan Cheney walked over and placed the phone on the table.

"Did she go to see Miss Harry?"

"Yes."

"Is everything okay?"

"It’s okay." Sylvan Cheney, fearing she’d worry, added, "You don’t need to worry about these things."

"I’m not worried; I just suddenly remembered something, something from a long time ago."

"What?" Sylvan Cheney leaned against the table, leisurely watching her, slightly squinting his eyes.

"When we weren’t living at the Cheney Residence, one night you came back from a social event, very late, with a woman’s perfume scent on you..."

Sylvan Cheney frowned and interrupted her, "When was this?"

How could he not know?

"The night little Chaley cried a lot, saying you were going to give him away."

Sylvan Cheney thought for a moment, oh, he probably knew.

That night, at Yacob Harry’s wine party, he drank too much and when he came back at night, he even forced Jasmine Yale once.

"And then?" Sylvan Cheney looked at her.

"Then you might not know, there was a note in your suit pocket. It was written in English by a girl, ’You are an elegant gentleman, thank you,’ with a smiley face drawn after the English."

"I didn’t know."

"It was probably a note from Miss Harry." Jasmine Yale exhaled, nonchalant.

"Probably." He remembered sending Joan Harry home that night, "The things I say usually, you don’t seem to remember so clearly, but these trivial matters, you remember every detail."

"These aren’t trivial matters." Jasmine Yale murmured, turning to walk toward the bathroom.

Sylvan Cheney reached out his arm and pulled her into his embrace with a particularly domineering move.

Jasmine Yale stumbled into his arms, still holding the dry towel cluelessly.

"Jasmine Yale, many people like me." Sylvan Cheney extended his hand, his slender fingers gently caressing her chin, "But isn’t it you who is monopolizing me now?"

His fingers lifted her chin, the warmth of his fingertips touching her chin, stirring a wave of seductive warmth.

Sylvan Cheney’s gaze was deep and profound, with his prominent features reflecting his usual seriousness.
