Chapter 430: Or do you want me?

Chapter 430: Or do you want me?

Richard called to let Andrew know that he was going to spend most of the night out with Ellis, and Andrew felt a bit like a parent getting a phone call to ask permission for his teen to go out. Andrew knew that wasn’t the case, but it made his heart warm that Richard was letting him know what was going on.

Richard had even sounded shy as he let Andrew know, and given everything that had happened that day, it was clear that the man was worried about taking away from what had happened to Andrew, for Andrew, that day. Andrew thought he was being ridiculous. There was no way that Andrew was going to care about that.

Andrew was just happy to be included in Richard’s life planning after they had that moment before. It also appeared that Richard had taken his advice. Maxwell, separately called Andrew and let him know that Ellis was over the moon. Just simply ecstatic that he was going out with Richard.

Maxwell also seemed rather excited that the other man wasn’t going to be home with them that night.

Andrew had a feeling that he was going to need to prepare himself, especially as he got dinner ready for when Maxwell got home. Maxwell even called him to let him know that he was on his way.

Andrew felt more like the meal than anything else, and when he said as much, he just got that tinkling, heart-filling laughter from Maxwell. Maxwell didn’t confirm, nor deny his feeling, just hung up on him while his laughter lingered in Andrew’s ears.

Andrew had washed up, cleaned up his face, shaved, all of the things. Honestly, now that the nerves had gone, they had gotten through the worst of the reporting stuff, Andrew felt like a weight had been lifted off his shoulders and put somewhere else.

Andrew knew he’d been putting off being intimate with Maxwell. It was very kind of Maxwell to be putting up with him holding off on doing anything. Even though Andrew knew that Maxwell wanted to.

The man was insatiable. He always wanted to, even in the days after his heat. It was Andrew who had put a halt on them doing anything because Maxwell’s body literally couldn’t handle it.

Andrew had even made sure that he smelled like himself. He knew that Maxwell liked his scent the most, and while that made him blush and feel a little shy, he was sure that Maxwell would be pleased with it.

They were having lasagna. Easy. Already pre-made by Andrew, and could keep warm if Maxwell attacked him right from the get go. Andrew wasn’t sure what the man was going to do, but he was down for all of it. Any of it.

He couldn’t wait to sink his face into the man’s throat as he stroked his cock and smelt him and heard him while he gasped in pleasure. Andrew could practically feel his mouth water at just the thought. Could already feel Maxwell’s skin against his own. The rest of the day had been torture.

Andrew was kicking himself for saying that he was going to lose control. He had just been anxious. He should have known better. He could have just...given into Maxwell’s desire to tie him up.

He didn’t like it, but he did feel a bit like a savage beast without any control. It was impressive that Maxwell hadn’t suggested it again after Andrew had had his reaction at Ben and Amir’s wedding.

Andrew felt his chest warm. The man rarely forgot anything when it came to Andrew. It was sweet, and could be alarming, but Andrew refused to take it that way.

Andrew heard the sound of a car pulling up and the garage door opening. He perked up like a damn dog, waiting and listening for his Master to come home. His lips curled at the thought. He was sure that Maxwell would like it if Andrew called him that.

Instead of doing something so off the cuff so quickly, Andrew went to the hallway and waited for Maxwell to step through the garage door. He didn’t have to wait long.

Andrew watched as his handsome, pretty fiancé stepped through with his long jacket open showing off the suit he’d left for the office in. It was a nice, pinstriped suit in a deep burgundy, almost black with a dull grey stripe in between. It had a rather charming effect on the other man, and his hair was a little bit mused from being at work the whole day. He wasn’t wearing a hat or gloves, and Andrew smiled down at the man.

Maxwell looked up, slightly surprised, but not shocked as he let the door close behind him, dropped the briefcase he was carrying with him to the floor and pounced on the other man. He wrapped his arms around Andrew, smiling widely at the sight of him and to Andrew’s surprise, began to kiss his face and throat without a care.

"You did such a good job. Such a good job. I’m so proud of you Baby. So damn proud. I didn’t want to say anything in the moment, but I am so proud of you for standing up for yourself against those fucking assholes. I can’t believe you kept the part in about what the company did to you too, and that fucking psycho. Everyone has to be fucking panicking. No, I know that they’re fucking panicking. We’re already getting signs of the backlash. Mom and Dad were able to pull themselves out of anything involving your father’s company without much concern for societal backlash." Andrew let the man speak in between kisses, holding onto him, keeping him safe from falling.

"Really? That quickly?" Andrew asked and Maxwell chuckled. He pulled back, gripping onto the back of Andrew’s head and nape so that he could look at him, his blue eyes bright. His grin was wide, mischievous, and Andrew felt his own lips curl to match his excitement.

"Well, you know how Mom is. She plans everything. As soon as the interview date was decided, she went through all of the groups that she worked with, checked where your father’s family was involved, and quietly started moving her puzzle pieces. She did her own little quiet announcement as well. A newsletter." Maxwell’s grin was infectious. "The business world, the fashion world that Mom was involved with? In shambles, scrambling to get into her good graces. She’s a big player, and the fact that she didn’t hesitate to pull out?" Maxwell shook his head. "It shows that there are only two sides to this coin, and my family is on one, and yours is on the other." Andrew stared at Maxwell, a feeling coming to the surface in his chest and heart.

It was...complicated, mixed with a sense of guilt that Andrew was putting Maxwell’s family in this position, a knowing that if Andrew said that, Maxwell would hit him. Lightly, of course, but he would be pissed that Andrew thought of it that way. And then there was the...joy, pure and simple, at the fact that the man who had ruined his Mom’s life was finally facing some backlash to that.

"Do you want to know something else?" Maxwell asked, leaning in like he was telling him something secret. Andrew nodded. "Their stocks have already fallen. Seems that while everyone knows that true alpha families are pieces of shit, it hasn’t been pointed out that obviously before. No one has dared to do so, and the fact that you, Dr. Andrew Knox has done so..." Maxwell’s grin was full of evil delight, and Andrew couldn’t love the man more in that moment.

"I love you so much." The words spilled out of Andrew, and he watched as Maxwell nodded, his ears slightly pink, but the smile and glee not fading.

"I love you too." Maxwell told him easily. Or, he was making it seem easy, and Andrew loved him even more. Andrew pulled him close, kissing him deeply as he held him and turned, taking them both to the kitchen. Andrew could taste the smile against his lips as Maxwell laughed.

"Where are you taking me?" The smaller man asked and Andrew laughed.

"Well, I’m giving you some options. Do you want to wash up first, do you want dinner first, or...do you want me?" Andrew asked, blinking quickly, fluttering his eyelashes as he stared into the other man’s eyes. Maxwell’s eyes creased as his fingers reached deeper into his hair.

"How long have you wanted to say that?" Maxwell asked and Andrew grinned.

"Forever." Andrew admitted and Maxwell chuckled.

"You’re so cheesy." He told him, and Andrew couldn’t deny it. He felt like a sappy fool when it came to Maxwell. He was fairly certain that was a good thing. Maxwell certainly wasn’t complaining.

"So? Your answer?" Andrew prompted and Maxwell’s fingers sent shivers down his spine as he continued to play with the small hairs there.

"I think whenever you give me a choice, I want all three at once. I’m greedy. Why don’t you feed me in the tub so that we can get started right away. Maybe....with you inside of me?" Maxwell offered and Andrew felt his breathing stop. He held it for a moment, before he let out a sharp exhale, and then chuckled.

"Angel, I made lasagna. It’s not really a bath food." Andrew told him and Maxwell smirked.

"Says who? Did you think something stupid like strawberries? That’s not going to sustain you through what I want to do to you." Maxwell told him. "You need a hardy meal, since I’m not sure if you’re going to be able to walk tomorrow. I might not even let you go to work tomorrow, or sleep tonight. I have plans, and those plans involve you getting your fill first." Maxwell warned, while still being held by Andrew.

Andrew let out a soft chuckle, and moved so that he could place Maxwell’s ass down on the counters. He was going to love it when the kitchen finally got renovated and he would be able to adjust them. For...cooking purposes of course.

"How about we make a compromise then?" Andrew started. "I have dinner already ready, so why don’t you start with eating while I go start the tub? If you aren’t finished by the time the tub is ready, then we can share an intimate moment eating lasagna in the tub, alright?" Andrew’s lips twitched as he said the words, his cock already hard, already ready for the other man.

Maxwell, who was sitting on the warm countertops, could smell the lasagna in the air, glanced at Andrew, slid his gaze down the other man’s body, and then let out a heavy sigh. He pretended he was in a mood, rolling his eyes, making a big stink, but his shoulders were relaxed. His eyes were warm as he looked over at Andrew.

"I guess. Are you going to dish it up for me before you go, or am I going to have to do it myself?" He asked and Andrew chuckled.

"You will never have to lift a finger, my love." Andrew told him, pressing his lips quickly against Maxwell’s. The man seemed surprised by the new endearment, but he didn’t seem upset in the slightest.

"Mmm. I like the sound of that."
