Chief Li sat at his desk.
Paperwork piled high.

The officer hesitated.
"Sir, he’s... in the detention area."
"With the Rei Family representatives."
Room went silent.
Rose straightened.
Stopped leaning.
"Rei Family?"
Her voice dropped.
Chief Li’s face went pale.

"Earlier today?"
The officer nodded.
"Their butler."
"And the two young masters."
"Rex and Ethan."
"They requested access to the prisoner."

Raven’s face went white.

He turned, almost slipped, and screamed.
"Get Mr Alex here right now!!"

[Detention Cell]
Alex sat on the floor.
Shirt torn open.
Blood on his chest.
Whip marks crisscrossed his back.
Burns from the baton.
He breathed through his teeth.
Eyes shut.
Rex paced in front of him.
Changed into fresh clothes now.
Clean. Pressed.
Hands behind his back.
Ethan wheeled closer.
Stopped right in front.
Both staring down.
The butler stood by the wall.
Phone out.
Recording.
Rex crouched.
"You know what’s funny?"
Alex smirked.
"You have ED?"
Smack!
More blood came from Alex’s mouth.
Rex wiped his hand.
"We haven’t even started yet."
