Fusang left the Sun Star and immediately headed towards Kunlun Mountain.
Upon arriving at Kunlun Mountain and observing the rich spiritual energy, Fusang couldn't help but exclaim:
"This place is indeed a sacred land for cultivation. It's not bad for Taiyi and Dijun to come here!"
Fusang then noticed the mountain-guarding array set up by Tongtian and sighed:
"The array master's cultivation in the Way of Arrays is not weak, no less than Dijun's!"
After sighing, Fusang immediately intended to walk towards the Kunlun mountain-guarding array!
In the Shangqing Palace on Shangqing Peak, Tongtian suddenly sensed someone intruding into the mountain-guarding array, and their cultivation was not low.
Tongtian immediately left Shangqing Peak and rushed towards the outside of Kunlun Mountain.
Upon entering the array, Tongtian saw an old man wearing a golden robe and with golden hair. Seeing that the old man's cultivation was not weak, Tongtian dared not be negligent and stepped forward to ask:
"May I ask where your esteemed abode is, and why you have come to Kunlun!"
Seeing Tongtian's question, Fusang laughed heartily:
"Greetings, fellow Daoist. I wander everywhere, with the four seas as my home. I have no fixed abode. I heard that Kunlun is a blessed land of immortals, so I came to see it!"
Hearing this, Tongtian relaxed his vigilance, guided Fusang, and led him into Kunlun.
After bringing Fusang into Kunlun, Tongtian began to introduce Kunlun to him along the way.
Li Yi and Yuanshi sensed Fusang's aura and each left their respective palaces, Taiqing Palace and Yuqing Palace, to rush towards Tongtian and the others.
Upon seeing the golden-robed elder beside Tongtian, Yuanshi asked in confusion:
"Big Brother, who is this person! Did Third Brother make friends behind our backs?"
Li Yi also shook his head and said:
"I don't know either! Let's go ask Third Brother!"
With that, the two walked towards Tongtian and the other.
Seeing Yuanshi and Li Yi arrive, Tongtian became happy and immediately introduced them to Li Yi and Yuanshi:
"Big Brother, Second Brother, this is fellow Daoist Fusang, who came from afar out of admiration for our Kunlun!"
After Tongtian finished speaking, Li Yi and Yuanshi bowed:
"Taishang (Yuanshi) greets fellow Daoist!"
Fusang quickly returned the禮:
"You two fellow Daoists are too polite. Fusang bows!"
Li Yi spoke:
"Since fellow Daoist is here to visit Kunlun, please stay for a while."
Fusang did not stand on ceremony and returned the bow:
"Then I will trouble the three fellow Daoists!"
After speaking, Fusang chose a spot on Yuanshi's Yuqing Peak, built a thatched hut for himself, and temporarily resided on Kunlun Mountain.
After settling down in Kunlun, Fusang spent his days wandering around the mountain. He would occasionally have casual chats with Jin Jiao and Yin Jiao.
Sometimes, he would also inquire about Li Yi and the other two from Duobao and Qilin.
When Fusang wandered to Shangqing Peak, Tongtian had just finished teaching Qilin and Duobao. Fusang stepped forward and asked:
"Fellow Daoist Tongtian, if a cultivator with profound cultivation bullies your disciples, what would you do?"
Tongtian laughed heartily:
"Fellow Daoist worries too much. Bully my disciples? If someone attacks my disciples without cause, I will make them regret it deeply and taste my methods!"
As Tongtian spoke, a fierce glint flashed in his eyes, and Fusang seemed to see a world-ending scene of the universe's destruction.
Fusang then asked again:
"What if you cannot defeat the person who bullies your disciples?"
Tongtian laughed heartily and proudly said:
"If I am no match, I still have my two brothers. They are not to be trifled with."
Fusang's mouth twitched. He had never seen anyone so proud of calling for reinforcements!
Fusang continued to ask:
"What if it's the disciples of fellow Daoists Taishang and Yuanshi!"
Tongtian acted like a thief, looking left and right, then whispered:
"I'll tell you quietly, don't tell my Big Brother and Second Brother!"
Fusang quickly assured him:
"Don't worry, fellow Daoist, I definitely won't say a word."
Hearing this, Tongtian immediately whispered:
"Let me tell you secretly, don't be fooled by my Big Brother and Second Brother's easygoing demeanor. They actually have quite short tempers. If someone truly bullies their disciples, I fear my Big Brother and Second Brother might immediately go confront them!"
Fusang exclaimed in disbelief:
"No way! I find fellow Daoists Taishang and Yuanshi to be very approachable. Could it be like that!"
Tongtian then began to talk incessantly.
After bidding farewell to Tongtian, Fusang found Qilin again and inquired about the temperaments of Li Yi and the other two.
Seeing Qilin finish his cultivation, Fusang immediately stepped forward and asked:
"Little friend Qilin, you are the eldest disciple under fellow Daoist Tongtian. I heard from Jin Jiao and Yin Jiao that you were also designated as the senior disciple of the three fellow Daoists by fellow Daoist Taishang. How do you find the three fellow Daoists treat you?"
Knowing Fusang was an honored guest, Qilin immediately replied respectfully:
"My Master and my two Martial Uncles treat us very well. When I first joined, my two Martial Uncles gave me welcome gifts. Master teaches us diligently without any reservation. Great Martial Uncle knows we are bored in the mountains and has specifically planted many spiritual fruits near his medicinal fields to satisfy our appetites."
Hearing Qilin say this, which was consistent with what Jin Jiao and Yin Jiao had said, Fusang gained a general understanding of Li Yi and the other two's attitude towards their disciples.
Fusang was still uneasy. Taiyi and Dijun had grown up under his care. He would never allow Dijun and Taiyi to be in danger. Otherwise, he wouldn't have come to Kunlun Mountain.
Fusang felt he needed to inquire further. After much thought, the only ones left were Li Yi's disciple Qingniu and Duobao!
So, Fusang found an opportunity to be alone with Duobao.
Fusang began to ask Duobao:
"Little friend Duobao, I heard you joined the sect most recently. May I ask how your senior brothers and the three fellow Daoists treat you?"
Although Duobao didn't know why Fusang would ask this, he knew Fusang was a senior and a guest. Since he could visit Kunlun, he was likely not a bad person. Thus, he replied respectfully:
"Senior, my Master, Martial Uncles, and senior brothers all treat me very well. Even when Master is busy, he always makes time to personally teach me and Senior Brother Qilin. My two Martial Uncles also treat us very well. The spiritual fruits in Great Martial Uncle's medicinal fields were specially planted for us by him. Second Martial Uncle also occasionally lectures us on the Dao. Here, I feel like we are all one family."
Upon hearing this, Fusang finally felt at ease. He believed that it was a good idea for Dijun and Taiyi to come here. Although they were not weak in cultivation, cultivating alone was like reinventing the wheel, and progress was slow.
With this thought, Fusang was relieved. He immediately bid farewell to Li Yi and the other two. The three did not try to persuade him to stay. After Fusang left Kunlun, he immediately headed towards the Sun Star.
