Taishang, naturally, had his own considerations. The moment Taishang obtained that sliver of Hongmeng Ziqi, he sensed the killing intent from everyone.
Taishang did not wish to make enemies of all in the Primordial World for just one strand of Hongmeng Ziqi.
If everyone were to attack him simultaneously, even the combined strength of the Three Pure Ones would struggle to withstand it.
Although the Three Pure Ones were not afraid, there was no need for such a confrontation. The guests in Zixiao Palace were the top combat forces of the Primordial World. If they were all sent to their deaths by Hongjun because of a single strand of Hongmeng Ziqi, the Primordial World would be the one to suffer!
Taishang also noticed Hongjun's gaze, which carried a killing intent. Taishang dared not be careless, for after all, Hongjun was a Saint. He quickly spoke:
"This Hongmeng Ziqi is crucial for becoming a Heavenly Saint. Naturally, everyone should have a fair and just opportunity to contend for it. I am also acting for the sake of the Primordial World. A Saint should not blame me, right!"
Hongjun looked at Taishang's harmless demeanor and couldn't help but want to slap him a few times. However, with so many people watching, Hongjun could not act rashly. He suppressed his anger and replied:
"Of course, young friend Taishang cares for the Primordial World. Truly a blessing for the Primordial World!"
Seeing that he had managed to deceive Hongjun, Taishang breathed a sigh of relief.
Hongjun saw that everyone was distracted, knowing that they were all preoccupied with the Hongmeng Ziqi. He shot Taishang an annoyed glance, thinking that Taishang was indeed an unpredictable variable, and he could no longer delay his union with the Heavenly Dao.
Thus, Hongjun said to Nuwa and the others:
"Since you are my disciples, I shall bestow upon you some spiritual treasures for self-defense!"
Nuwa and the others were overjoyed and quickly replied:
"Thank you, Master!"
Hongjun waved his hand, and several spiritual treasures appeared in his palm.
"Nuwa, you are my eldest disciple. I shall bestow upon you the Shanhe Sheji Tu and the Red Embroidered Ball!"
"This diagram contains its own world, with mountains and rivers, capable of creating all things. It is a primordial supreme treasure, skilled at trapping enemies. After you attain sainthood, even a Saint who falls into it will find it difficult to escape for a while!"
"This Red Embroidered Ball is a treasure of marriage, capable of presiding over the姻缘 (yīn yuán - fate of love/marriage) of heaven and earth! You should use it wisely!"
Nuwa bowed and thanked him immediately:
"Thank you, Master. Your disciple will surely use it wisely!"
As Nuwa finished speaking, the Shanhe Sheji Tu and the Red Embroidered Ball flew into her hands.
Seeing that Hongjun was bestowing primordial spirit treasures and supreme primordial spirit treasures, everyone looked at Nuwa with envy.
Jieyin and Zhunti were extremely excited by Hongjun's grand gesture. These brothers were in dire need of spiritual treasures!
Zhunti still had one supreme primordial spirit treasure, while Jieyin was much poorer, possessing only the Jieyin Baohuang. Originally, he had a supreme primordial spirit treasure, the Six Roots Pure Joy Anle Staff, which had been snatched by Taishang!
The two saw Hongjun bestow a primordial supreme treasure at the outset. Although they were only nominal disciples, they were still disciples, weren't they? Even if they didn't receive primordial supreme treasures, they should at least get some supreme primordial spirit treasures!
Hongjun took out two spiritual treasures and said to Fuxi:
"These two spiritual treasures are named the Qiankun Tu and the Yin Yang Mirror, both supreme primordial spirit treasures. They are bestowed upon you!"
After Fuxi thanked Hongjun, Hongjun then said to Zhen Yuanzi:
"Zhen Yuanzi, you possess the Di Shu. I shall bestow upon you the Dimai Bi. This Dimai Bi originates from the same source as your Di Shu, and it is also a supreme primordial spirit treasure. When used in conjunction with your Di Shu, it has miraculous effects in managing the earth's veins!"
Zhen Yuanzi felt a hint of dissatisfaction seeing that Hongjun was only giving him one spiritual treasure, while Nuwa and Fuxi each received two. However, Zhen Yuanzi dared not show it and quickly thanked Hongjun.
Jieyin and Zhunti heard Hongjun say that Zhen Yuanzi's Di Shu and Dimai Bi had miraculous effects in managing earth veins. The two thought of the Western land, which suffered from blocked earth veins, leading to a drastic decline in spiritual energy, far inferior to the East.
The two exchanged glances, thinking that they must build a good relationship with Zhen Yuanzi, so perhaps they could invite him to the West to help manage the earth veins.
Hongjun then said:
"Hong Yun, you were transformed from the first red cloud in the heavens and earth. This Tiandi Xia Yi (Heaven and Earth Sunset Glow Robe) was formed from the first ray of dawn light at the creation of the world. It is very fitting for you, so it is bestowed upon you. This item is a defensive spiritual treasure, and you should use it wisely!"
Jieyin and Zhunti saw Hong Yun, and realized it was almost their turn. Their hearts couldn't help but become excited. They eagerly anticipated what treasures they would receive!
After Hong Yun thanked Hongjun, Hongjun remained silent!

Seeing that Hongjun had no intention of speaking further, Jieyin and Zhunti were filled with confusion. Were nominal disciples not disciples?
Seeing that Hongjun truly had no intention of giving them spiritual treasures, the two couldn't help but cry out loudly:
"Master! Our West is extremely impoverished, and we have no heavenly or earthly treasures. We implore Master for your compassion!"
A hint of impatience flashed in Hongjun's eyes. However, since the two had spoken, it would be inappropriate for him not to respond. He then bestowed the Twelve-Grade Merit Golden Lotus upon them.
Jieyin and Zhunti felt a thousand mixed emotions seeing that Hongjun had only given them one treasure. However, they also noticed the impatience in Hongjun's eyes and did not speak further.
It must be said that these two were quite adept at reading people's expressions, knowing when to cry and when not to.
When Hongjun first began to bestow treasures, he started with primordial supreme treasures. The crowd initially thought he would be very generous. To their surprise, only supreme primordial spirit treasures were given out afterward. The crowd felt that Hongjun was perhaps a bit stingy.
Everyone looked at Hongjun with strange gazes. Hongjun, sensing their gazes, looked resentfully at the Three Pure Ones. If not for the Three Pure Ones taking away the Taiji Tu and the Pangu Banner, he would not be in such a predicament!
Unable to bear their stares, Hongjun spoke:
"There are still some spiritual treasures on the Treasure Distribution Rock behind Zixiao Palace. You may each take what fate allows!"
After Hongjun finished speaking, he vanished!
Upon hearing this, everyone thanked him repeatedly and immediately rose to head towards the Treasure Distribution Rock.
Taishang's lips curled upwards, thinking to himself:
"It's finally here. It wasn't for naught that I listened to his nonsense for so long!"
Taishang's primary purpose for listening to the sermon this time was the Treasure Distribution Rock. Two of the five primordial directional banners were located on this rock, and Taishang's target was these two banners!
Among everyone present, the Three Pure Ones had the highest cultivation, and thus were the fastest!
