Fu Xi nodded, intending to bid farewell to Di Jun. However, Di Jun, Tai Yi, Xi He, Chang Xi, and Kun Peng arrived to seek him out.
Upon seeing Fu Xi and Nu Wa, Di Jun immediately said, "My esteemed friends, the second sermon is about to commence. Shall we all head to Zixiao Palace together?"
Fu Xi had been about to go find Di Jun, so he was surprised they came to him first. He replied, "It would be my pleasure!"
With laughter, they all set off towards Zixiao Palace.
In Wanshou Mountain's Five Villages Monastery, Zhen Yuanzi, sensing the approaching second sermon, instructed Qing Feng and Ming Yue, "You two guard the mountain gate. I am going to Huoyun Cave to join Hong Yun and head to Zixiao Palace to listen to the sermon!"
Qing Feng and Ming Yue quickly agreed. Zhen Yuanzi nodded and then made his way to Hong Yun's Huoyun Cave.
Inside Huoyun Cave, Hong Yun was refining a congenital gourd he had obtained from Buzhou Mountain. After returning to Huoyun Cave, Hong Yun had begun the process of refining this gourd into a spiritual treasure. Using the congenital gourd as a foundation, Hong Yun added red sand he had accidentally acquired during his travels in the Primordial World. This red sand was a rare celestial treasure that could corrode both flesh and soul, possessing immense malevolence. Hong Yun had found no use for it until now, realizing the congenital gourd could withstand its properties. Thus, he incorporated it into the gourd during the refining process, creating a spiritual treasure named the "Nine-Nine Soul Scattering Gourd."
After refining the Soul Scattering Gourd, Hong Yun checked the time and knew the second sermon was about to begin. He looked towards the horizon with a hint of confusion. Just as Hong Yun was about to set off, he saw Zhen Yuanzi's figure appear on the horizon. Hong Yun, hanging the Nine-Nine Soul Scattering Gourd at his waist, smiled and walked to meet him, saying as he approached, "If you hadn't come soon, I would have gone to your Five Villages Monastery to find you!"
Zhen Yuanzi smiled and replied, "But I'm here now! Let's go!"
After speaking, the two of them set off together towards Zixiao Palace.
In the Sea of Chaos, Jie Yin said to Zhun Ti, "Senior brother, we've arrived early this time. We should be ahead of those in the East. We might still have a chance to explore the Sea of Chaos and perhaps even find some treasures!"

Zhun Ti sent a telepathic message to Jie Yin: "Senior brother, these Easterners are truly impolite. How dare a mere attendant dismiss us!"
Jie Yin replied, "Alright, junior brother. They are the attendants of a Saint; we should not offend them." Zhun Ti nodded and then sat down on his cushion to meditate.
Shortly after Jie Yin and Zhun Ti arrived, more figures began to emerge from the Sea of Chaos. Upon their arrival, they saw that the gates of Zixiao Palace were not closed and entered directly, finding their seats to await the commencement of the sermon.
Meanwhile, in a certain part of the Sea of Chaos, Yuan Shi and Tong Tian were secretly observing the travelers on the road. With the sermon about to begin, they still had not seen Jie Yin and Zhun Ti.
Tong Tian said to Yuan Shi, "Second brother, why haven't Jie Yin and Zhun Ti arrived yet? Could they have already gone ahead?"
Yuan Shi pondered for a moment and then said to Tong Tian, "Third brother, it's possible we've arrived too late. Let's go. If we stay away too long, eldest brother will become suspicious. We can come again after the sermon."
Tong Tian nodded. They had left without Taishang's knowledge, and if they were gone for too long, Taishang would indeed grow suspicious.

Tai Yi looked at the empty seats in the back reserved for the Three Pure Ones and said to Di Jun, "Elder brother, my master, uncle, and senior uncle haven't arrived. Could something have happened to them?"
Di Jun looked at Tai Yi and smiled, "Tai Yi, what are you thinking? Who could harm the Three Pure Ones? It's more likely they would harm others. Don't overthink it!"
