Chapter 331 Handsome Zombie

Xu Qian’s emotions had calmed down considerably.

She drove along the mountain road to the summit and stopped, then got out of the car.

Xu Qian squinted her slightly swollen eyes, looking at the faintly white sky, and felt a surge of relief.

Didn't she have plenty of men?

Why cling to one like a dead branch? She had five other strong options.

“Roar roar roar.”

Looking down from the mountaintop, Xu Qian saw a surging tide of zombies climbing up behind her.

The young girl, clad only in a red pajama set, stood at the summit. She raised her delicate, tender arm and shook a bell.

“Jingle jingle jingle.”

The zombies immediately froze in place, motionless.

As soon as the bell stopped ringing, they lunged forward again.

Xu Qian raised an eyebrow. Did she have to keep shaking it?

Her hand was about to go numb.

Just as Xu Qian was preparing to retreat.

Suddenly, the horde of zombies froze.

Xu Qian looked up at the bell on her wrist; she hadn’t shaken it!

A strong gust of wind swept through.

Xu Qian turned and dodged, then looked back.

A tall, thin figure stood in the shadows, estimated to be almost two meters tall. He wore a blood-red coat, and the original white color was barely visible beneath the black and red, tattered fabric.

Underneath the coat was a black shirt, paired with black trousers and leather shoes.

If it were the Xu Qian before her memory loss, she would have exclaimed in recognition – wasn't this the flesh-eating zombie she encountered at the Aimei Meat Factory in K City?

The current Xu Qian didn't know. She only knew this was a very good-looking zombie.

His hair was slightly long, with bangs covering his eyes, from which a faint green glow could be seen.

His chin was slightly pointed, his skin pale, and his lips blood-red.

Were it not for his bizarre aura and zombie nature, he would have been a great handsome man.

But unfortunately, no matter how handsome he was, it couldn't hide the fact that he was a zombie.

As a thought flashed through Xu Qian’s mind, a combat knife materialized in her hand.

[Ding, the system reminds you, this one cannot be killed.]

Xu Qian: “……”

[Why?]

[Ding, this zombie is one of the important figures in the apocalypse.]

Xu Qian: “……” Fine, if I can’t kill him, I can at least run.

The handsome zombie lunged at her without a word. Xu Qian quickly shook her bell, only to find it had no effect on him.

He didn’t stop at all!

[System, you’re tricking me!!]

Caught off guard, Xu Qian was grabbed.

Xu Qian expected him to bite her, but instead, the handsome zombie hoisted her onto his shoulder and ran down the mountain.

As they passed through the horde, the other zombies stood still like imbeciles.

Xu Qian was jolted with each step, unsure whether to struggle or not.

After a moment’s thought, she decided to just go with it.

Since she had nothing else to do, and this creature was an important figure in the apocalypse, he couldn’t be an ordinary… zombie.

A long while later, daylight broke.

The handsome zombie carried her into a mountain cave.

The cave was deep and dark. It took nearly ten minutes of walking to reach the innermost part.

A large hole in the ceiling of the cave opening allowed light to filter in, making the entire cave quite bright.

The cave was exceptionally clean. The ground was covered with a layer of animal hides, and there were many brand-new clothes on the ground, all uniform black shirts and trousers, as well as barrels of mineral water.

The handsome zombie put her down.

He pointed to the clothes beside them, then pointed to himself.

Xu Qian was taken aback and asked, “…To change your clothes?”

The handsome zombie nodded.

Xu Qian was speechless. Although he was a handsome zombie, changing clothes? Wasn’t that a bit inappropriate?

After all, he was a male zombie.

“You change yourself. You’re a man, and I’m a woman.”

The handsome zombie didn't seem to understand. He paused, and seeing her hesitation, he let out a loud roar at her.

The stench of decay and blood filled her nostrils.

Within this roar, Xu Qian seemed to hear a killing intent.

It sounded like he was saying, If you don’t change me, you’ll die!
