Hearing that their objective was Yugito and Killer Bee, A's heart sank. He glanced behind him, his expression darkening.
Yugito and Killer Bee had been summoned by him. They were originally meant to capture Uzumaki Lin Yu together, but now the Akatsuki had come knocking. This was truly a case of trying to steal a chicken only to lose the rice!
"My target?"
Yugito, naturally arrogant, scoffed coldly. Her single ponytail swayed slightly. As a jinchuriki, she couldn't accept being someone's target, and their tone made her feel like a pet to be captured.

Killer Bee, on the other hand, was more optimistic. He pointed forward with two fingers, spitting out embarrassing rap lyrics: "Eight-Tails Killer Bee, that's me! Yeah! Ah!"
The surrounding Cloud ninjas also looked awkward, subtly stepping aside as if they didn't know Killer Bee.

As A spoke, barriers of varying sizes rose from the Cloud Hidden Village housing area on the mountainside not far away. Although their defensive power wasn't very strong, they could block most ninjutsu and falling debris.
