Chapter 310: Chapter 310 Viewer Square
When all the Explorer Squads participating in the exploration had gone inside.
"Dong!"
The clear sound of a bell echoed once again.
Burton, following his team, under the guidance of the Mist Council staff, started walking orderly towards the Teleportation Platform.
It was now time for these spectators to enter the dungeon.
In fact, these spectators could enter and leave at any time; the only restriction was that each souvenir allowed only one entry and exit opportunity per exploration.
If they wanted to go back inside after exiting, they had to change to a new souvenir.
"Now, take your souvenir in hand, grip it tightly, and stand on the Teleportation Platform,"
a bunny-eared Miss in a Mist Council uniform shouted loudly beside them.
The requirements for these spectators weren’t as tedious as for explorers; they just needed to casually stand on it until it was full. Soon, it was Burton’s turn.
Following the group, Burton held the golden monocle in his hand and disappeared on the Teleportation Platform. When he could see his surroundings once more, he was in a vast arena.
Behind him stood a small wooden cabin.
It was very thoughtfully built according to his dwarf race.
It is said that each day, food and drink would automatically appear on the room’s dining table.
And all rooms were built arranged in rows.
In front of the house was a massive screen, projecting the situation inside the dungeon, surrounded by dozens of smaller screens, each corresponding to a squad.
The middle large screen displayed the areas where the battles were most intense.
Currently, the large screen in the center was still displaying a bird’s-eye view of the whole exploration, indicating that no one had encountered each other yet.
After placing some items in his room, Burton immediately went to the square area.
He then looked up at the large screen in front of him, searching around for the screen representing Kane’s team.
Kane’s location was quite obvious, and Burton found it in no time. He then picked a spot where he could see Kane’s team clearly and sat down.
At this moment within the arena.
Kane’s team had just entered not long ago.
First, they released Cotton Candy from around Kane.
Kane walked over and rubbed Cotton Candy’s head, "Alright, go up now, and be sure to keep yourself hidden."
And Meizike placed an Eye of Magic Power beneath Cotton Candy.
As Cotton Candy ascended, Yoyo also glided upwards, flying into the sky propelled by the helicopter rotor.
He was scanning the surrounding terrain to determine their location on the map.
However, Kane’s team remained motionless.
They all stared quietly at the sky, and it wasn’t just Kane and his team; nearly everyone participating in the exploration was doing the same as Kane’s team.
"What do you guess the season will be?" Longbei suddenly asked.
Kane, Kreya: "Winter"
Lilulu: "Spring"
Meizike: "Autumn"
Looking at their answers, a flash of brilliance crossed Longbei’s eyes, and he said, "Then I’ll choose summer. Since everyone’s different, let’s make a bet."
Upon hearing Longbei’s words, everyone became interested.
"What’s the stake, then?" Kane asked.
Ahead of everyone, Lilulu quickly shouted, "The winner gets to decide which dungeon the next exploration will be in."
"Alright, let’s settle on that," Longbei agreed readily with the stake.
Kane turned to look at Kreya and saw an interested expression on her face; then nodded in agreement.
Concerning such affairs, Meizike usually didn’t mind much, so he nodded in agreement since it was suggested.
"Great, let’s decide on that," Longbei seemed more excited than the proposer of the idea, Lilulu.
Then, everyone began silently staring at the sky.
Soon, ripples spread across the sky, signifying the beginning of the exploration.
Shortly afterward, a cold wind swept up and white snowflakes started to drift down from above.
Kreya extended her hand to catch the descending snow, covering her mouth with the other hand as she laughed.
"Ah, looks like we’ve won," Kane remarked while looking at the weather, chuckling.
At that point, Longbei had turned ashen, kneeling on the ground and pounding it hard.
"Damn it! Even as a Mist Warrior, why is my luck still so bad?"
Kreya then turned around and smiled at Kane next to her, asking, "Have you decided where the next dungeon should be?"
"You’re a winner too, I’ll leave it up to you," Kane said, looking at Kreya and blinking his eyes.
Meanwhile, Yoyo was flying down from the sky, having scanned the terrain.
"Master, I’ve confirmed our location,"
Yoyo replied and projected a complete map of the dungeon in front of everyone, marking their current position.
At the moment, Kane’s team was located at the bottom right corner of the irregular oval map, around the triangle tower, one of the landmark buildings.
There were a total of five landmark buildings on the map, located in the four corner directions and the center.
These five landmark buildings were also the most fiercely contested locations, as the first battle was usually fought at one of these spots.
According to the dungeon intelligence information Kane’s team had obtained, if they managed to hold a landmark building for more than a day, they would secure an enhanced effect.
There were many kinds of enhancement effects, but they generally helped with the exploration overall.
Looking at the triangle tower on the map, Kane said to Yoyo, "Calculate the distance between us and the triangle tower now."
Hearing Kane’s command, Yoyo’s eyes flashed red and immediately said, "Master, our current position is 300 kilometers from the triangle tower."
Upon hearing Yoyo’s words, Kane nodded and then turned to his teammates, saying, "Let’s swiftly move towards this landmark building, hold our ground for a day, and secure the enhancement first before making further plans."
"Is the dungeon really this big?" Longbei remarked in response to Yoyo’s distance data.
"If it wasn’t big, it wouldn’t let 200 people battle on this map for a month, deciding the last ten," Kreya responded.
Upon hearing this, Longbei suddenly said, "If we quickly move towards this landmark building, we might hold our ground for a day without encountering another squad to disturb us. After all, squads that can quickly analyze the map’s location like us are definitely not the majority."
What’s going on, is Longbei suddenly becoming bright? His analysis is orderly and clear.
Upon hearing Longbei’s analysis, Meizike rarely responded, "Not necessarily; everyone here is Silver Peak-level."
