Chapter 79 Yin Yang Guai Qi Fang Yan Huan 3

Wen Yan'an stood at the entrance of the tent, the zipper not fully pulled up.

Fang Miaomiao was currently lying inside the tent, one hand propping up her head, the other leg resting on the first, her ankles crossed and swinging.

The thought of Fang Yanhuan's flushed face after she left made her unable to suppress a laugh.

Fang Yanhuan, Fang Yanhuan, you have your plans, but I have my countermeasures.

Wanting to shame me in front of everyone, and then use that opportunity to bring up those parents wanting me, asking me to return to the Fang family? Dream on. I'll simply ignore you, turn around, and leave with a "sad" expression.

"Fang Miaomiao, Fang Miaomiao, you really have left me with quite a mess to clean up," Fang Miaomiao sighed softly to herself.

Ah, what a sin. She felt she was still too kind to these people, especially that passive-aggressive Fang Yanhuan. If it weren't for the fact that the Fang family had raised Fang Miaomiao, she...

So annoying!

The more she thought about it, the angrier Fang Miaomiao became, and she suddenly sat up.

"Are you alright?"

Fang Miaomiao snapped back to attention, only then noticing Wen Yan'an standing outside the tent.

"I'm fine," she shook her head. "Why did you come over?"

"I was afraid you hadn't eaten enough."

And that you might be in a bad mood.

Fang Miaomiao looked at the small figure and recalled how he had stood by her side without hesitation earlier, arguing earnestly for her. She beckoned to him, "Come in."

Wen Yan'an took off his shoes and socks, crawled inside, and after zipping up the tent, took a packet of biscuits from his pocket. "I hid these. You eat them."

Before heading to the deserted island, Chen Tianming, for the sake of authenticity, had inspected their luggage before departure. Food items were strictly prohibited on the island, and they were only allowed one change of clothes.

"Aren't you afraid Uncle Tianming will find out?" Fang Miaomiao looked at the biscuits in her hand, her heart feeling heavy. She chuckled and looked up at Wen Yan'an.

Wen Yan'an tilted his head and thought for a moment. "We can eat them quietly, and after we're done, put the wrappers in my jacket pocket. When we return to Fisherman's Village, we can throw them in the trash."

Fang Miaomiao ruffled Wen Yan'an's little face, then handed the biscuits back to him. "Don't worry, I'm not hungry."

She had known Fang Yanhuan was up to no good, so she ate very quickly at dinner. By the time she put down her chopsticks, she was already full.

Wen Yan'an nodded and obediently put the biscuits back in his pocket. "Then, eat them when you get hungry."

"Okay."

The two lay in the tent, chatting idly.

Eventually, they drifted off to sleep.

A night of sweet dreams.

Early morning.

Fang Miaomiao felt the sunlight and instinctively snuggled into someone's embrace.

"It's time to get up."

Fang Miaomiao's toes wiggled for a moment, and she continued to sleep.

Wen Yan'an, helpless, got up, unzipped the tent, and went out to prepare washing supplies for Fang Miaomiao.

"An'an, how is Miaomiao?" Cui Mantong asked worriedly.

Last night, she had planned to comfort Miaomiao, but when she reached their tent, the zipper was pulled up. Thinking Miaomiao was asleep, she didn't disturb her.

This morning, upon seeing Wen Yan'an, she hurried over to inquire about her condition.

"My mom is still sleeping."

"She didn't sleep much last night?"

"She slept quite early," Wen Yan'an answered honestly.

As she was speaking, he turned and saw Fang Miaomiao already fast asleep.

"Miaomiao didn't cry or anything last night, did she?"

Wen Yan'an shook his head obediently. Not only did she not cry, but she even smiled in her sleep.

"An'an, Mantong-jie, good morning."

Wen Yan'an glanced at Fang Yanhuan, who was smiling and looking at him as she greeted him. He grabbed a bottle of mineral water and turned to leave.

Fang Yanhuan concealed the anger in her eyes and called out, "An'an!"

Seeing that he ignored her, she stomped her foot in frustration. She was his brother's girlfriend, and Wen Yan'an was so rude and ill-mannered. He should have approached her proactively upon seeing her.

But Wen Yan'an, instead of being proactive, had barely even looked at her when she greeted him before leaving. Just as her uncle had said, Wen Yan'an was just like his disabled father, ill-mannered and arrogant, thinking he was superior because of his abilities.

Hmph, just you wait. Once Uncle gains control of the Wen family's affairs, I'll make sure Wen Yan'an pays.

"Oh, you're not pretending anymore?"

Damn it.

Fang Yanhuan's expression changed. She had been so flustered by Wen Yan'an earlier that she had forgotten someone else was present.

She curved her lips into a smile and turned her head to Cui Mantong, "Mantong-jie, good morning."

"It's not live-streaming yet, Miss Fang. There's no need to pretend, is there?" Cui Mantong appraised Fang Yanhuan from head to toe before saying with a half-smile.

Fang Yanhuan's smile faltered. "I don't understand what Mantong-jie means. If it's about last night, I apologize. I said some very inappropriate things because I was seasick. I hope Mantong-jie can be magnanimous."

"As for Miaomiao-jie, I will certainly offer a sincere apology later. I am truly sorry for what happened last night."

The smile on Cui Mantong's face slightly softened. "You don't need to apologize to me. We don't have any relationship between us."

With that, she walked away directly.

Wen Yan'an watched as Fang Miaomiao washed her face, and then the program announced the continuation of the live broadcast.

Rows of people sat on the beach, waiting for Fang Miaomiao to cook and feed them.

Fang Miaomiao: "..."

She had been too careless. She should have feigned helplessness for longer.

"Miaomiao, let's do it together."

After breakfast, Chen Tianming announced that their lunch would need to be prepared by themselves.

In terms of planning and organization, Senior Zhou Jiaxin was very capable. Before long, she had assigned tasks to everyone.

Because of last night's events, Zhou Jiaxin also tacitly avoided pairing Fang Miaomiao and Fang Yanhuan together.

Fang Miaomiao led Wen Yan'an into the woods, taking off her shoes and stepping onto the path paved with pebbles.

"There are coconuts over there," Wen Yan'an quickly spotted coconuts on a coconut tree.

However, looking up, they seemed a bit high.

The two exchanged glances.

Finally, they decided that Fang Miaomiao would climb the tree, and Wen Yan'an would wait for her to throw down the coconuts, which he would then collect.

What Fang Miaomiao didn't know was that her swift tree-climbing actions had sparked a heated discussion in the live broadcast room.

[Holy crap, in the first episode, I knew Fang Miaomiao was good at climbing trees. Seeing her today, I realize I was too naive. This isn't just good, it's like she's a nimble monkey.]

[Is Fang Miaomiao really a pampered young lady? Her tree-climbing movements are more agile than mine, and I grew up in the countryside.]

[What did I just see? I almost thought my eyes were playing tricks on me. I saw a black shadow climb up. Fang Miaomiao constantly redefines my perception of her.]
