Chapter 455 The Arrival

"So amazing,"

Wen Yan'an said nervously, "I wonder if Dad will like it."

Fang Miaomiao smiled and patted Wen Yan'an's head, "Why don't we go ask, and then we'll know?"

Wen Yan'an was still tense, "Mom, can you go call Dad to wake up? I'll wait for you here."

Fang Miaomiao pinched Wen Yan'an's cheek, "Okay, then our An'an will wait here for a while."

Entering the bedroom.

"Still sleeping?"

Wen Zhiyan held Fang Miaomiao's hand, "Miaomiao."

Fang Miaomiao patted Wen Zhiyan's cheek, "Are you awake?"

Wen Zhiyan pulled her into his arms and said in a low voice, "Miaomiao."

"Wake up, you scared An'an today."

Wen Zhiyan came to his senses, swung his arm open to turn on the bedside lamp, "Sorry, I didn't expect..."

Fang Miaomiao raised her hand to cover Wen Zhiyan's mouth, "Don't apologize, hurry up and get up to eat dinner, it's already seven in the evening."

Wen Zhiyan hugged her tightly, "Thank you Miaomiao, thank you An'an."

Fang Miaomiao patted Wen Zhiyan's shoulder, "It's okay, everything will be fine, with me and An'an here."

After a long hug, Wen Zhiyan finally got out of bed.

"Dad." When Wen Yan'an saw Wen Zhiyan, his eyes lit up. He quickly slipped off his seat and ran towards Wen Zhiyan.

Wen Zhiyan bent down and hugged him into his arms, "An'an."

"Dad, under Mom's guidance, I made you noodles. Will you try them?" Wen Yan'an said, hugging Wen Zhiyan's neck. "After Dad eats, please be happier, okay."

"Okay, thank you An'an."

The large and small sat by the dining table, propping their chins as they watched Wen Zhiyan finish a bowl of noodles before letting out a sigh of relief.

"Dad?"

"It's delicious, An'an is amazing," Wen Zhiyan said with a smile. "Our An'an is such a capable person."

Wen Yan'an blushed and said shyly, "It's all thanks to Mom's good teaching."

After Wen Zhiyan washed the bowls, he went downstairs with the two of them to walk the dog.

Looking at the two figures under the lamplight, Wen Zhiyan leaned on a chair, enjoying the gentle evening breeze.

After about an hour of walking, the three of them returned home.

Wen Yan'an asked Wen Zhiyan to squat down and gently kissed his cheek, "Dad, don't be afraid, Mom and I will always love you."

After speaking, Wen Yan'an ran towards his bedroom.

Wen Zhiyan smiled and pulled Fang Miaomiao, who was leaning against the wall, into his arms, "Did Miaomiao teach him?"

He knew why An'an had been acting sneakily when he came back, constantly looking at him with shy eyes. It turned out Miaomiao had been advising him.

Fang Miaomiao spread her hands and blinked innocently, "This has nothing to do with me. I just told An'an that any emotion needs to be expressed. Sometimes, if you don't say it, how will others know your feelings for them."

"Is Miaomiao hinting at something to me?"

"I'm not, don't talk nonsense."

Wen Zhiyan carried her into the room, and after Fang Miaomiao washed up, he carried her to bed and refused to let go.

Fang Miaomiao was amused, "You're not letting go of me today?"

Wen Zhiyan shook his head childishly, "I don't want to, I never want to let go."

"Okay, don't let go, my arms won't be sore tomorrow morning anyway."

Wen Zhiyan inhaled the scent of Fang Miaomiao, "Good girl, it's late, go to sleep early."

Fang Miaomiao placed her hand on Wen Zhiyan's waist and remained silent.

After an unknown amount of time, Fang Miaomiao fell into a deep sleep.

...

When Fang Miaomiao woke up, Wen Zhiyan was already gone from the bed.

After she washed up and came out of the bedroom, she saw Wen Zhiyan sitting in the living room with someone who looked familiar, but she couldn't quite remember who it was.

"Wen Zhiyan?"

The man's eyes lit up when he saw Fang Miaomiao, and he excitedly stood up from the sofa.

"Who are you?"

"I'm Yu Bei, we've met before."

"Yu Bei?" Fang Miaomiao's gaze turned cold, "What are you doing here?"

Yu Bei looked at Fang Miaomiao in shock, clearly not expecting such animosity from her.

Wen Zhiyan beckoned to Fang Miaomiao.

Fang Miaomiao quickly walked over, "You, how did you let him in."

"He said he came to apologize."

"He's not apologizing to me."

"Miaomiao," Yu Bei said nervously, "I didn't come to see you with any other intentions. My mother, your aunt, can't hold on much longer. Her only wish is to see you."

"See me?" Fang Miaomiao chuckled, "I think it's better if I don't go to your house. After all, I don't want to live the life Fang Yan Huan used to live."

Yu Bei naturally heard the sarcasm in Fang Miaomiao's words, "I know we wronged Fang Yan Huan."

"Then send your father to prison."

Yu Bei's eyes widened, "Do you, do you know what you're saying."

"And do you know what your father did?" Fang Miaomiao interrupted Yu Bei impatiently and said lightly, "Oh, right, you know what your father did, but you're too cowardly to report him."

She didn't like, even hated Fang Yan Huan, but in this matter, Fang Yan Huan was the real victim.

"I..."

"I will not be going to your house. Anyway, we've only met a few times, and there's no deep affection to maintain. Let's not meet again in the future."

"Fang Miaomiao, you're too heartless. My mother still thinks of you."

"Then pay us back."

"What?"

Fang Miaomiao looked at Wen Zhiyan.

Wen Zhiyan decisively handed Fang Miaomiao a document that had been on the coffee table, unopened.

Fang Miaomiao didn't even look at it, directly sliding it into Yu Bei's hands, "Here, take a look."

Yu Bei picked up the document from the coffee table and flipped through it, his expression changing from confusion to anger, and even shame, "How is this possible."

"How is it impossible? Or do you think we need to ask you to return this money?" Fang Miaomiao said with a light smile, "You took the money from my deceased biological parents, yet you never truly treated me well, oh wait, Fang Yan Huan. When you used this money to buy a house, spent lavishly, and even laid hands on the orphan, did you ever feel guilty?"

"Also, you came to find me, wasn't it just because you were out of money for your mother's surgery?" Fang Miaomiao's eyes held endless mockery. "Do you really think that if I went to see that so-called aunt and listened to her complaints, I would give her money for treatment? Are you dreaming?"

"No, I'm not." Yu Bei quickly waved his hands, his face incredibly pale.

"If not, then what are you here for?" Fang Miaomiao asked in a low, drawn-out voice. "I remember someone promised my husband that he wouldn't appear in front of me."
