Chapter 480 Playing Games.

Su Ling did not linger. She glanced at the door, which was left ajar, and then descended the stairs without looking back.

After she went downstairs, the gap in the door automatically closed.

And this scene happened to be missed by Su Ling once again.

Su Ling arrived at the fourth floor and continued with her sweeping mission.

This time, Su Ling sensed something was amiss. She always felt a pair of eyes watching her.

Every move she made was under the gaze of these eyes.

But whenever she stopped and looked behind her, the feeling would vanish without a trace.

Su Ling could not pinpoint the target, so she decided to ignore it.

If they wanted to watch, let them. She wasn't losing anything, so it didn't matter.

With this thought, Su Ling continued her sweeping, and the pair of eyes would appear and disappear intermittently.

Soon, Su Ling completed the sweep of the entire building. After successfully completing her mission, she did not delay and headed directly to the place where she had arranged to meet Shang Qi Chujin.

Emerging from the building and standing under the sun, Su Ling watched the billowing smoke with cold eyes.

The eyes that had been watching her reappeared, very conspicuously.

If she had been too lazy to bother with the clandestine surveillance for the sake of completing her mission without delay,

then now, her mission was complete, and she felt like playing with the eyes that were watching her.

With that thought, Su Ling slightly curved her lips. She looked at the building engulfed by the fire, then turned and walked towards where her car was parked.

The eyes followed her all the way. Su Ling continued to feign ignorance, walked to the car, opened the door, and sat in her exclusive passenger seat before closing the door.

After closing the car door, Su Ling put on her sunglasses.

She snapped her fingers, and a flame, a blend of cyan and red, sprung from her fingertip. The flame transformed into a small figure and flew to Su Ling, kissing her cheek.

Su Ling's eyes crinkled with a smile, her lips curving slightly as she watched the playful flame figure. Beneath her sunglasses, her eyes were fixed on the eyes that were watching her.

Once she had locked onto her target, Su Ling transformed the flame figure into a bow and arrow.

Initially, she casually shot arrows, as if just passing the time.

Her listless demeanor made it hard for anyone to suspect she was orchestrating a magnificent play.

As Su Ling played with her fire arrows, the pair of eyes was drawn in, and their guard lowered.

It was precisely when the eyes lowered their guard that Su Ling aimed her fire arrow directly at them and shot.

The pair of eyes had been intently watching Su Ling's game, never expecting the focus to suddenly shift to them.

The arrow was already flying towards them, leaving no room for evasion.

With a "swish," the fire arrow hit its mark squarely, suspended in mid-air.

Slowly, drops of blood splattered onto the ground. Then, the target of the arrow revealed its true identity.

The one hit by the arrow was a man around thirty years old.

Because of the arrow, his abilities were significantly weakened. He now appeared within Su Ling's line of sight in a disheveled state. The arrow had struck his left shoulder.

Su Ling looked at the owner of the eyes, who had revealed himself. She restored the phoenix fire to its small flame figure form, then lazily leaned against the car window. She looked at the target who had been hit and asked, "The fire on the fifth floor, did you start it?"

With the arrow in his left shoulder, the man reached out to pull it out. However, the fire arrow on his shoulder stung like a poisonous scorpion, causing him to recoil his hand in pain as soon as he touched it.

The man, realizing that only the one who tied the bell could untie it, had no choice but to place his hope in Su Ling.
