Chu Jin leaned against the car, watching Zhou Yong with great interest.
To be fair, this newly added companion was rather lacking in courage.
To avoid being eaten by him, a zombie, Zhou Yong was truly willing to smear his own reputation, to cast himself in a bad light.
It had to be said, this self-deprecation was quite disgusting.
Never mind that Chu Jin had his own principles and didn't eat people; even if he did, he wouldn't fancy a cowardly man like Zhou Yong.
He was truly timid as a mouse, making up such absurd excuses to escape, his thought process was utterly incomprehensible!
Seeing Chu Jin's silence, Zhou Yong assumed he was considering the truthfulness of his words. To completely eliminate any thought Chu Jin might have of eating him, he continued to cast himself in a bad light.
"Really, don't disbelieve me. It's just that I'm unhygienic, so I have no friends. You..."
Zhou Yong choked as Chu Jin looked at him.
The moment their eyes met, Zhou Yong became terrified. He was so scared he kept swallowing, his gulps echoing in the car.
"I, well..."
"It's fine," Chu Jin said, a smile that didn't reach his eyes playing on his lips as he looked at Zhou Yong, who was trying to say something. "Firstly, I'll be drinking your blood, and as long as the blood is clean, that's enough. As for your flesh, bones, and skin, I..."
"No!" Zhou Yong interrupted before Chu Jin could finish. "How can blood be clean? It's the dirtiest thing. I don't fear you laughing at me; I'm actually not clean. I'm sick; I contracted it before the apocalypse."
Zhou Yong didn't explicitly state what illness he had, but the implication was clear.
Chu Jin, seeing Zhou Yong resorting to any absurd reason to avoid being eaten, decided to tease this life-fearing man.
Thus, Chu Jin hatched a plan and slowly said, "Firstly, I don't mind if you're dirty. Whether you don't bathe, don't wipe your backside after defecating, or don't brush your teeth or wash your hair... I'm indifferent to all of that."
"Secondly, whether blood is clean or not doesn't affect me much. If we're talking about dirtiness, then me, the monster who eats people in your eyes, that's the real dirtiness, isn't it?"
Before Zhou Yong could retort, Chu Jin continued, "Once I bite your neck and drain your blood, I'll strip off all your clothes and pants, leaving you completely bare. Then I'll throw you into the water and wash you from head to toe."
"I'll clean your fingernails and toenails meticulously, removing all the grime, and then trim them. While washing your entire body until it's fragrant, I'll prepare a table and a chair, spread white cloth on the table, place fresh flowers, and light candles."
Chu Jin felt a hint of perversity in himself, but the more he spoke, the more excited he became, especially seeing Zhou Yong's reaction, which he found immensely amusing.
"As for me, to show you respect, and for all the effort I'll expend before enjoying you, I will be impeccably dressed, in a suit and tie, with my hair slicked back, refined from head to toe, to demonstrate my utmost respect for you."
Chu Jin propped his chin on his hand, mimicking Su Ling's posture when she was lost in thought, and slowly moved closer to Zhou Yong as he spoke. This forced Zhou Yong to retreat repeatedly until his back hit the car door, leaving him with no escape.
"I will spread the tablecloth on my lap. I will then use cutlery to begin with the most tender parts of your body and thoroughly savor you..."
"Gag..."
Chu Jin hadn't finished speaking when the acidic stench of vomit filled the air.
Smelling it, Chu Jin frowned slightly and looked with distaste at Zhou Yong, who was leaning against the car door, throwing up.
It wasn't that he looked down on Zhou Yong, but Zhou Yong was simply too filthy!
