Su Ling, with Shang Qi in tow, finished touring the first floor, then proceeded to the second, third, and fourth.
The first floor housed the living area, kitchen, entertainment zone, reading nook, and more. Starting from the second floor were bedrooms, one for each person, complete with en-suite bathrooms and walk-in closets, all elegantly and beautifully designed.
After touring the castle, Su Ling led Shang Qi back down to its base.
Standing between the steps, Su Ling opened a door in the wall and pulled Shang Qi inside.
This was the mobile castle's control room, larger, more luxurious, and more complete than the previous one.
The once snow-flaked display screens were now clear, showing partial views of different directions within the space.
Looking out from inside the control station, the scenery outside was unobstructed.
From the control station looking outwards, the light was transparent and unimpeded.
However, from the control station looking inwards, only the exterior of the mobile castle could be seen, nothing from inside the control station.
Su Ling sat down at the control console, watching the surveillance footage of the castle on the display screen. On the dizzying array of controls, she manipulated them according to the surveillance recordings. kAnshu Wu.ξà
"Shang Qi, come here, I'll teach you," Su Ling said, looking back at him and beckoning him over.
Shang Qi obediently walked over and sat next to Su Ling, following her instructions to learn how to operate the control room.
Soon, with her control, the castle's power was connected.
Next, Su Ling tested the flight system.
As the flight system activated, Su Ling quickly saw the castle slowly taking flight in the video.
The castle flew high into the sky, ascending further and further from the ground. The entire space unfolded below, with no discernible beginning or end. Mountains, forests, lakes, oceans, herds of cattle and sheep, wild animals running through the woods, flocks of chickens, ducks, fish, and geese, fish occasionally surfacing, vast orchards, golden wheat fields, rice paddies, and lush green cornfields... The entire space presented a scene of abundance.
After the mobile castle flew a distance within the space, Su Ling changed its course, guiding the castle to land on the sea.
Once the castle's flight system was confirmed to be functioning, the next step was to test if it could navigate on the sea.
The castle landed on the sea, with the entire control station submerged below the seabed, while the console itself floated on the surface.
Su Ling and Shang Qi sat inside the control station, appearing as if they were in an aquarium, with schools of fish swimming just beyond a wall of glass.
Except for the top part connecting to the castle, the rest of the control station was transparent.
Su Ling and Shang Qi sat in the control room, with transparent views to their rear, sides, and even beneath their feet.
Beneath them, they could see fish swimming nimbly, as well as coral reefs and seaweed, all in full view.
The unpolluted seawater was a beautiful azure, and the ripples of the water cast patterns within the control room, creating a breathtaking underwater spectacle.
Su Ling's mind was no longer on the control console. She handed it over to Shang Qi, becoming a hands-off manager and walked to the castle wall, pressing herself against it to watch the seafood, whose names she didn't know, swim by. She felt a pang of craving.
She longed for sashimi and to soar through the seabed like a mermaid, free and unrestrained.
The castle continued to sail on the sea, and Su Ling was captivated by the ever-changing scenery.
After Shang Qi familiarized himself with the control console, he set a program for the castle to return. He then left the console and came to Su Ling's side, embracing her from behind and looking out in the direction of her gaze. "It's truly beautiful."
Su Ling turned to look at him at the sound of his voice. "This is my space. You've seen it now, and you know what it's like."
Shang Qi hummed in agreement, then turned Su Ling to face him and asked, "What is going on here?"
