Chapter 209 Shitting and Crying

Before Su Ling could even speak, Qi Ren was already questioning her.

"Your mobile house is so big, it could fit ten more people. It's impossible that the team is full like you said. You're lying, you just don't want me to join your team!"

After his accusation, Qi Ren continued to grumble, "You're so selfish. You look beautiful, like a flower, but your mindset and how you handle things are so petty. It makes me want to grab you and spank you hard."

"Spank you until you cry your eyes out and call me 'daddy'—oh my god—"

Before Qi Ren could finish, a ball of fire flew towards him. He dodged it with quick reflexes.

Patting his chest, still shaken, he looked at Su Ling, "You want to kill me?"

"Yes." Su Ling didn't bother with pleasantries and directly summoned her Phoenix Fire.

The moment Qi Ren saw the Phoenix Fire, images of Feng Cai's death and Su Ling killing zombies earlier that day flooded his mind. He instantly froze. Before Su Ling could act, he was so scared that he peed himself.

His knees buckled, and with a thud, he knelt before Su Ling, his hands clasped together. "Big sister, spare me, I won't dare again."

"I won't join your team, I won't join your team, alright?"

The air was filled with the smell of urine. Qi Ren, a grown man, cried rivers of tears and snot in front of Su Ling.

He was clearly terrified.

Seeing Su Ling raise her bow but not shoot, Qi Ren's eyes darted around. He then got up and bolted.

He ran as if his life depended on it, without looking back.

Su Ling had already nocked an arrow, drawn the bowstring, and with a 'twang', an arrow shot out.

The flaming arrow quickly caught up to Qi Ren, grazed his ear, and embedded itself in the wall in front of him.

Seeing this, Qi Ren shivered, his body trembling as he froze on the spot.

"If I see you again, I will kill you."

As Su Ling spoke, the flaming arrow flew out of the wall, circled Qi Ren once, and returned to Su Ling's hand.

By the time Su Ling returned to the castle and the oppressive aura and killing intent behind her vanished, Qi Ren's knees almost buckled.

He dared not kneel, he just ran. Disregarding his urine-soaked pants, he fled the city where Su Ling and her group were located that very night.

This scare had completely extinguished his idea of joining Su Ling and enjoying a life of ease with them.

While Qi Ren was fleeing the city, escaping from Su Ling and her group, Su Ling had already returned to the ground level of the castle.

Fragrant rice was already served at her place. On her bowl of rice sat freshly sliced, steaming lamb. The aroma of the lamb was enticing, mingled with the scent of Ziran and chili powder.

Without even picking up her chopsticks, Su Ling reached out and took a piece of fatty, marbled meat to eat.

As the meat hit her mouth, a sense of satisfaction washed over her. Su Ling's eyes narrowed slightly; she loved eating meat so much.

Gu Shangse took in her contented expression. He got a bowl, served himself a steaming bowl of tripe soup, and sprinkled it with cilantro and chives before placing it in front of her.

Only then did he begin to enjoy his own portion of lamb.

Yang Yang was also rewarded with a large piece of lamb grilled specially for it, without any seasoning.

Besides the lamb, its dog bowl also contained cold dishes without any condiments, except for the preserved eggs.

It hadn't been eating much dog food lately, eating the same meals as Su Ling and the others every day; its diet was unusually good.

If it weren't for Su Ling and the others killing zombies during the day, and it running around to help, it would have probably already become as round as a ball.

Hanhan also had his own grilled lamb, with a good balance of fat and lean meat. He sat in his special chair, holding the lamb with both hands, his mouth slick with oil as he ate, his little face glistening.
