Chapter 741: Chapter 741: A Deadly Question!
Kyle Keaton squinted his black eyes slightly: "Do you know me?"
But why, even after searching through his entire mind, couldn’t he find any image related to this man?
Facing Kyle Keaton’s questioning, Liam Monroe ignored him and instead looked at July Quinn.
"What you were worried about probably hasn’t happened."
That’s right, just before Kyle Keaton arrived, July Quinn was talking to Liam Monroe about the hypnosis he had performed on Kyle.
She told Liam that the memories Kyle Keaton had been hypnotized to suppress seemed to be returning, and she was worried it might lead to mental chaos.
So Liam personally tested Kyle a bit.
But fortunately, Kyle Keaton’s situation was good at the moment.
"That’s good."
Upon hearing Liam Monroe’s diagnosis, July Quinn breathed a sigh of relief.
Then, the two of them started chatting about other matters.
"By the way, is Huang’s family just going to be let off like that? Isn’t life in prison too comfortable for them?"
The Monroe Family had been through too much, to the point where, in Liam’s eyes, having a meal while staying in prison was considered a blessing.
"It may be a comfortable life for you, but for Mr. Huang and his daughter, it’s sheer hell. So they definitely won’t just sit still."
When July Quinn sent them to prison, she anticipated that they wouldn’t just wait passively, and so she took some precautions beforehand.
"What should we do next?"
"Do nothing; wait for them to make a move first."
Liam Monroe nodded: "I want to visit the old house for a bit."
"Alright, I’ll have someone arrange it."
The two chatted away as if no one else was there, with Kyle Keaton trying to interject several times.
The strange thing was that there seemed to be a peculiar atmosphere between July Quinn and Liam Monroe, making it impossible for others to join in.
Just as he was about to lose his temper, July Quinn suddenly grabbed his hand and said to Liam:
"I’ll leave the rest to you. I’m going to spend some quality time with my man."
Kyle Keaton’s anger was almost about to swallow up his last remaining bits of sanity.
But with July Quinn’s words, that anger vanished without a trace.
Especially those three words, "my man," stirred a sweet sensation in his heart.
Later on, Kyle couldn’t remember much of what happened.
He only knew that the next morning, he woke up in July Quinn’s bed.
Because he spent the entire night doing sweet romantic things with July Quinn, he woke up late the next day.
July Quinn was no longer in bed, and he could hear her talking with Susan Carter outside.
"Make me three steaks and cook three packs of the new instant noodles from The Hawthorne Group."
"I don’t eat steak or instant noodles; I want French fries."
"I know you only eat junk food, so those three portions weren’t meant for you anyway."
"Not for me? Who are they for? Did you get yourself another son?"
At that moment, Kyle Keaton, with a towel wrapped around his lower body, walked up to July Quinn and pulled her, already dressed, into his arms to assert his claim.
Susan Carter looked at Kyle Keaton and then at July Quinn before greeting Kyle: "Hey, my dad’s man! So it was you who stayed over. Are you having breakfast here? I thought my dad had another son."
Susan Carter had also given up at this point.
If she was going to be treated as July Quinn’s son, she would be the only son and wouldn’t let anyone else steal the spotlight!
But Kyle Keaton heard some underlying implication in her words: "Besides me, is there anyone else spending the night here?"
Susan Carter: "..."
This question sounded like a potential death sentence.
