Chapter 256: Chapter 256: Suited for Rough Work
Brian Vance hadn’t had time to cry for help before he was thrown against the opposite wall like a rag by July Quinn.
Brian Vance’s body slammed into the wall harshly, then fell to the ground like a withered leaf, screaming in pain.
His brothers were locked in a deadly struggle with Kyle Keaton, two already knocked down on the ground.
Hearing the screams, they rushed over to help the wailing Brian Vance off the ground.
"Vance, what’s wrong?"
"Who hit you? Damn it, we’ll get revenge for you."
They had been too busy fighting to notice what had happened with Brian Vance.
Brian Vance found it hard to admit that he was beaten up by a woman.
After hesitating for a while, he only said, "I’m fine, just fell on my own."
But his gaze was fierce and resentful as he looked at July Quinn.
Once they finished dealing with Kyle Keaton, he swore he would teach this woman a lesson, then sell her to a brothel where she’d be ruined completely, only then he could quell the anger in his heart.
But as he was plotting revenge against July Quinn, she was leisurely helping Kyle Keaton adjust his shirt collar.
While fixing it, she said, "Honey, this kind of rough work isn’t suitable for you."
"Is it suitable for you then?"
Kyle Keaton’s voice was somewhat icy.
Thinking of Brian Vance’s gaze on July Quinn, as if to strip her clothes off, made Kyle Keaton want to send him to meet his eighteenth generation ancestors.
"I’m not suitable either, girls need to take care of their hands," she replied.
July Quinn’s words made Kyle Keaton think she was about to saintly forgive Brian Vance’s actions, ready to scold her.
Unexpectedly, July switched her tone, "But I’m in a bad mood today, and if I don’t vent, it’ll definitely affect my stunning beauty. Compared to my stunning beauty, hands are insignificant, right honey?"
The woman in his arms was dazzlingly beautiful, her smile particularly charming and alluring.
But amidst her exquisite features, Kyle Keaton truly saw a trace of dimness and hesitation.
Perhaps influenced by that emotion, Kyle Keaton’s intended rebuke turned into, "Five minutes, clean them up, and we’ll eat somewhere else."
"Okay!" July Quinn quickly agreed.
Brian Vance and his brothers witnessed the whole exchange: "..."
So blatantly discussing dealing with them within five minutes, wasn’t that extremely disrespectful?
"July Quinn, if you’re seeking death, don’t blame us for being ruthless."
Brian Vance, though flung by July Quinn, believed it was because he was unprepared and she ambushed him.
Now he was on guard against July Quinn, with so many brothers by his side.
He refused to believe they couldn’t handle one July Quinn.
With his command, several people charged towards July Quinn simultaneously.
Thinking victory was certain, but three minutes later...
They were all sprawled on the ground, faces and bodies bearing varying degrees of bruises.
And the one who made them question their existence, July Quinn, was now going through their wallets one by one, lecturing them as she went.
"Coming out with such little money, aren’t you embarrassed to claim you’re trust fund kids?"
"You’re better, but don’t mimic cheesy romance dramas, putting your crush’s photo in your wallet. Look at you, getting beaten and robbed like this, you’re dragging her down with you, aren’t you?"
July Quinn gathered the cash from the men in front; it amounted to just about fifteen thousand altogether.
But during the fight, two porcelain plates from H brand were smashed, each priced at about nine thousand, still short by a few thousand.
Therefore, July Quinn riffled through Brian Vance’s wallet.
Thankfully, Brian Vance had over four thousand cash in his wallet.
July Quinn put the four thousand along with the previous fifteen thousand together, ready to toss Brian Vance’s wallet aside.
Unexpectedly, a thick stack of business cards tumbled from it.
July Quinn inadvertently glanced at the cards, then looked at Brian Vance.
"Westmarch’s leading real estate company, is it your family’s?"
