Chapter 507: Actions Speak Louder Than Words

Chapter 507: Chapter 507: Actions Speak Louder Than Words

"See that store being renovated? That will be my office space in the future. If you miss me, you can go there and find me."

July Quinn wielded her cue stick, pointing at the store being renovated across the street.

Kyle Keaton followed July Quinn’s direction and saw the store next to Apothecary Hale’s clinic being renovated.

That spot faces his Apex Tower, making it even more valuable than Apothecary Hale’s property.

Even if rented, the price wouldn’t be low.

"What type of business do you plan to do?"

Kyle Keaton asked seemingly casually, but it made July Quinn beam with joy.

"Honey, can I understand it as you showing concern for me now?"

But Kyle Keaton used his finger to push away the bright face that was getting close to him.

"Don’t overthink it. That store faces Apex Tower, so I have to consider whether it will have any adverse effects on Apex Tower."

"That’s really a pity! But you can rest assured, I’m just opening a clinic, it won’t have any bad effects."

July Quinn seemed a bit disappointed, though she didn’t show it.

"A clinic? Apothecary Hale’s clinic is right next door, you’re still opening a clinic? Aren’t you afraid of losing everything?"

Kyle Keaton obviously didn’t think she could do anything exciting next to Apothecary Hale’s clinic.

But July Quinn was full of confidence: "I fear no losses; I’ll make Apothecary Hale’s clinic go bust within six months, do you believe it?"

"Blind confidence is also a sickness; it needs a cure." That was Kyle Keaton’s conclusion.

"Someone was better in the past, they promised to believe me unconditionally no matter what happened." July sighed lightly.

Kyle Keaton had a feeling that when July Quinn mentioned this person, her tone held a special tenderness.

So, she exposed herself to that person like she did when she was drunk the other day?

Thinking of that scene, Kyle Keaton’s tone carried a trace of jealousy that even he hadn’t realized: "Anyone who says such words is definitely a fool!"

"Hmm, I think they’re a fool too."

Kyle Keaton felt that July Quinn’s smile at this moment was a bit odd.

"Tonight..."

July seemed about to invite him to have dinner together.

Kyle Keaton suddenly remembered what she had said to Bianca White downstairs earlier and interrupted her.

"I have plans tonight."

Unexpectedly, July laughed and said: "Honey, I wasn’t going to invite you. I just wanted to tell you that I have plans tonight and can’t have dinner with you."

She had originally planned to do something with Susan Carter tonight, but said that out of worry for Bianca, who drank her broth.

July thought that since Kyle Keaton was already committed, she could go on with her plans, not realizing this man was suddenly sour.

"Who do you have plans with?"

"Your son!"

"What son?" Kyle Keaton felt this woman was becoming more and more unrestrained.

She was still a student, yet always called him hubby.

And now she’s fabricating a son!

"Anyway, you’ll know when you meet in the future."

July Quinn finished and took out her phone, "Let’s add each other on WeChat, I’m free tomorrow night, you probably won’t have plans, we can have dinner together."

"Aren’t you always calling me hubby? How come we haven’t even added each other on WeChat?"

Someone ridiculed July Quinn mercilessly but honestly took out his phone to add her as a friend.

That’s right, even though this woman stepped on his limits every step, she made him oddly curious to know her better.

"It’s a long story."

Because she was afraid he’d follow her in grief before surgery, she manually erased everything between them.

"Alright then, I’m off now. Have some free time, come find me to hang out..."

After adding him as a friend, July Quinn left.

Kyle Keaton wanted to refuse her request to hang out, but watching July Quinn’s departing figure, suddenly two voices rang in his head.

"Sorry, I shouldn’t doubt you. No matter what happens in the future, I will unconditionally trust you. Whatever you do, I’ll believe you’re right, always loyal to you..."

"Just saying it is pointless!"

"Alright, I’ll prove myself with action."

Who is it, promising the future.

And who is it, laughing and teasing.

Kyle Keaton couldn’t distinguish, he just felt his headache expanding to a breaking point...
