Chapter 18 Song Ni Fights Five Men Bare-Handed
The bar was a cacophony of chatter and music, not exactly a quiet place, but the sound of breaking glass was easily discernible. Friction was common here, and everyone was used to it. The conversation among the men in the private room paused for a moment, and they didn't think much of it. However, Tan Zheng suddenly glanced towards the door. Tang Qinyun followed his gaze and casually remarked, "Why has Ni Ni been in the restroom for so long without coming back?" He paused, then met Tan Zheng's gaze.
Lu Fang, sitting by the window, followed their line of sight downwards. With just one look, he couldn't tear his eyes away. Lu Fang raised an eyebrow, intrigued. The source of the friction was none other than Song Ni! Lu Haoting followed his gaze and recognized Song Ni instantly. "Isn't that Sister-in-law?" Upon hearing this, Tang Qinyun immediately rushed to the window.
Song Ni hadn't thrown a punch in a long time. She hadn't had time to train at the association recently due to blind dates. This man was practically walking into a trap. The clothes she was wearing today were also convenient. Song Ni stretched her body, unfazed by the four or five men facing her. She was in a good mood and naturally felt like indulging in a violent game.
Song Ni clenched her fists, stepped her right leg out to the side, then moved forward, raising her arm. With a classic elbow strike, she parried the wine bottle in the man's hand. With a clatter, the bottle fell to the ground, shattering. The man clearly hadn't expected Song Ni to defend herself and then attack. Before he could react, Song Ni delivered a front kick to his abdomen. A swish of wind near her ear, Song Ni turned her head and, with a swift side kick, sent the lean man attacking from the right flying about a meter away.
Her fighting prowess stunned everyone on the first floor. Even the bar's DJ changed the music style. Lu Haoting upstairs was mesmerized, unable to resist whistling. "Holy shit, Sister-in-law is this strong?" Hearing this, Tan Zheng flicked the ash from his cigarette and finally stood up, walking over.
There were still three men left. Song Ni unhurriedly took a hair tie from her pocket, casually tied her hair into a high ponytail, tilted her head, and smiled at them. "Why don't you all come at me together?" One after another, like the Calabash Brothers rescuing their grandfather – how boring would that be? Provoked by such a young girl, any man would be provoked. He casually picked up a wine bottle from the table and swung it at Song Ni.
Song Ni's eyes instantly turned sharp as she rapidly analyzed the situation. She took a step back with her right leg, first using an upper block to deflect the bottle attack from the man in front, then delivering a back kick that knocked him to the ground. Ducking to avoid another's attack, she scraped her toe on the ground a couple of times before leaping up, executing a beautiful spinning back kick. The movements were clean, sharp, and incredibly cool. After the fight, Song Ni stood in place, extending her clenched fists outwards, and let out a long sigh. These men, with their masculine physiques, were all brawn and no brain, not enough for her to fight. They were merely enough to stretch her muscles.
Song Ni stepped forward and crouched in front of the man who had tried to harass her. She picked up a broken bottle from the side and used the jagged edge to press against his chin, forcing him to look up. Seeing him tremble in fear, Song Ni snorted. "Still want to drink with me?"
"N-no more." His current pathetic state made it hard to imagine where he had found the courage to provoke her earlier. Song Ni found it uninteresting and tossed the wine bottle to the ground nearby. "Remember to pay for it." With that, she stood up, ready to leave. The place was littered with broken bottles, and the strong smell of alcohol made Song Ni frown.
Lu Haoting upstairs couldn't help but whistle again, leaning by the window. "Sister-in-law, you're awesome..." Before he could finish the word 'shit', he saw the man who had been lying on the ground suddenly pick up a wine bottle and hurl it towards the back of Song Ni's head. Tang Qinyun's heart skipped a beat. "Ni Ni, be careful!" Tan Zheng's expression suddenly turned grim, his eyes narrowing with a hint of coldness.
The moment she heard the sound, Song Ni reacted swiftly, lifting her leg and turning to kick the bottle away. Seeing this, the people upstairs breathed a sigh of relief. Lu Haoting raised his arm. "Sister-in-law, that was a great move!" Tan Zheng's fingers at his side twitched slightly, and he turned to leave the private room.
Downstairs, Song Ni walked back to the man with a cold expression. She lifted her leg and forcefully stepped on the hand he had used to hold the bottle, even grinding it a few times. The man's screams echoed through the bar. Song Ni crouched down, casually picked up a shard of glass, and held it against the man's throat. She said, word by word, "Why don't you learn your lesson?"
The bar manager rushed over, seeing that Song Ni hadn't eased her foot at all and showed no sign of stopping. Fearing a fatality, he quickly called out, "Miss, please calm down." Song Ni ignored him. She wasn't the type to stir up trouble, but she wasn't afraid of it either. The man's repeated actions had clearly exhausted her patience.
The manager tried to step forward to intervene, but a deep voice came from behind. "Let her handle it." The manager turned to see who it was – the boss. He quickly stepped aside. With the boss present, this was a minor matter. Hearing Tan Zheng's voice, Song Ni closed her eyes, suppressing the anger in her eyes. She shifted the direction of the glass shard and fiercely plunged it into the man's right hand. She wasn't afraid of things escalating, but this was Tan Zheng's territory, and she couldn't give him such a grand "gift" on their first formal meeting.
Watching Song Ni's quick and precise actions, Tan Zheng's eyelids didn't even flutter. It was only when his gaze fell on her hand that his brow furrowed. Tang Qinyun, Lu Fang, and Lu Haoting also came down. Unlike Song Ni, Tang Qinyun didn't care if this would cause trouble for Tan Zheng. He immediately kicked the man, who was clutching his arm. "What the hell kind of scum dares to touch Ni Ni."
Lu Haoting also wanted to join in, but Lu Fang stopped him. "Do you want to go viral?" Hearing this, Lu Haoting withdrew his foot, but he still held a surge of anger. It was Song Ni who realized that if the situation escalated, it might affect Lu Haoting, and she spoke up to stop Tang Qinyun. She threw the glass in her hand away and pulled Tang Qinyun's arm.
Tang Qinyun was unwilling to let it go. His silver hair, like his personality, was currently radiating anger. He pushed Song Ni away, intending to continue the scolding, when he heard Song Ni cry out in pain. His movements froze. Tang Qinyun turned to look at Song Ni. Her palm was covered in blood.
Standing by, Tan Zheng saw that Song Ni had vented enough of her anger. He stepped forward, silent, and pulled her outside. Tang Qinyun, unwilling to be left behind, also wanted to follow, but Lu Fang stopped him. "You help clean up here." Tang Qinyun frowned, fire burning all over him. "You can't handle it alone?" Lu Fang still refused to let go. "They're going to cultivate their relationship, why are you playing the third wheel and interfering?" Tang Qinyun: ... Go to the hospital to cultivate their relationship? He's the third wheel? ??? Tang Qinyun: Damn it, go to the hospital to cultivate their relationship!????? (End of Chapter)
