Zheng Zemin parked the car at the hospital entrance and saw Tang Yi looking troubled.
Zheng Zemin walked over, stared at Tang Yi, and after a moment of silence, asked, "What's wrong? Why aren't you going in?"
Tang Yi was a little nervous. Looking at Zheng Zemin, she said softly, "How about I don't go? I'm not ready yet."
Zheng Zemin had already seen what Tang Yi was thinking, so when Tang Yi said this, he was prepared with words to comfort her.
Zheng Zemin took Tang Yi's hand and said gently, "Yi Yi, I know what you're thinking, but you have to give me a chance too."
Tang Yi didn't understand what Zheng Zemin meant. Why did she have to give him a chance?
Zheng Zemin explained, "Your father isn't very happy with me. If he finds out that I didn't even visit him when he was injured and his life was hanging by a thread, that I'm so indifferent to him, how can he feel at ease entrusting you to me in the future? Don't you think?"
Tang Yi hadn't expected Zheng Zemin to be so eloquent. With just a few words, he convinced her.
Zheng Zemin added, "Just think of it as accompanying me. Go in and see him. If there's really no major problem, it's not too late for us to leave."
"I'm here to see him with you. I don't care how he is," Tang Yi grumbled softly.
Zheng Zemin suppressed a smile.
In reality, Tang Yi cared very much, but she refused to admit it.
Ultimately, Tang Yi was still bothered by that incident.
When they reached the ward, Mr. Mo was extremely excited to see Tang Yi.
He tried to get up, but his wound hurt with any movement. Helpless, he had to remain lying in his position by the bed.
However, Mr. Mo's gaze never left Tang Yi's.
Staring at Tang Yi, Mr. Mo said excitedly, "Yi Yi, you came to see me. I knew you cared about me. You wouldn't abandon me. Dad knows he was wrong. Dad will try his best to make it up to you."
Tang Yi pursed her lips and ignored Mr. Mo.
But Mr. Mo was not discouraged and continued to try and find topics to talk about with Tang Yi.
Seeing that Tang Yi remained unresponsive, Zheng Zemin felt like Mr. Mo was talking to himself.
Zheng Zemin couldn't stand it anymore. He gently nudged Tang Yi with his arm, signaling her to greet Mr. Mo.
However, Tang Yi remained unmoved.
Mr. Mo also felt a bit awkward.
Zheng Zemin looked at the father and daughter. If things continued like this, it wouldn't work.
So, Zheng Zemin stepped forward and said to Mr. Mo, "Mr. Mo, I accompanied Yi Yi to see you. I hope you take good care of yourself and recover soon."
Zheng Zemin naturally had a low presence.
After they entered, Mr. Mo's gaze had been fixed on Tang Yi, completely ignoring Zheng Zemin behind her.
Unexpectedly, Zheng Zemin took the initiative to greet him.

Mr. Mo watched their interaction. To be honest, Mr. Mo found Zheng Zemin utterly displeasing.
If not for Tang Yi being there, Mr. Mo would never have given Zheng Zemin a pleasant look.
But even now, Mr. Mo hadn't offered Zheng Zemin a smile.
However, Zheng Zemin didn't care. If it weren't for Tang Yi, he wouldn't have been here.
Mr. Mo's gaze lingered on Zheng Zemin for only a few seconds before returning to Tang Yi. He said, "Yi Yi, if you really want to be in a relationship, break up with this thing. Dad will introduce you to a boy who is worthy of your status."
"He's not a 'thing.' He's my boyfriend, and if nothing unexpected happens, he'll be my husband," Tang Yi said calmly.
She disliked how Mr. Mo looked down on Zheng Zemin and spoke of him.
Although Zheng Zemin didn't come from a good background, he was outstanding and had achieved his current success through his own efforts.
If there was anyone who was not worthy, it was Tang Yi who was not worthy of Zheng Zemin.
She had just graduated from university with no savings.
If it weren't for Yan Xi and Fu Yan Ting's generosity towards her, she wouldn't even have a job.

Mr. Mo's face grew even uglier.
Truly, a daughter grows up and leaves her parents.
He had only said one word about Zheng Zemin, and Tang Yi was already defending him so fiercely.
Mr. Mo felt very bitter.
