Chapter 161 Heart of Sin

The third elder pinched my right buttock hard with his left hand and said in a charming tone, raising his pinky, "My little puppy, what are you thinking about?"

A roar erupted in my mind: "Can you please not slap my butt?" Of course, I didn't say that, and lied, "Nothing, I suddenly feel that the association's life is very exciting and suits me!"

"Haha, we truly met too late! If we had met earlier, I wouldn't have wasted my youth on Da Hong!"

"Uh, you and Da Hong are a couple?"

"Yes! But now I've changed my mind."

Damn it! You effeminate bastard! I had already cursed the third elder and his entire lineage in my heart, but this guy seemed usable, so I didn't expose myself and could only compromise.

He led me back to Tang Lao Jiu's office, but his subordinates weren't here anymore. I found Da Hong standing there with a sheepish grin. Seeing me again, he said, "I am Da Hong!"

I coughed and deliberately said, "I am Little Puppy!"

The third elder was amused by me. He pinched my cheek and said, "You two will be my little followers from now on!"

I wore a warm smile, but in my heart, I wished there was a hole I could just crawl into.

"Alright, Tang Lao Jiu must have gone out on some business. I'll take you to another base. There are computers there, and you can be assigned tasks!"

"Okay!"

As he spoke, Da Hong prepared to drive. This time, it wasn't a motorcycle, but a Rolls-Royce. The previous one was already shocking enough, and now a Rolls-Royce? These people in the association must be involved in illegal activities, otherwise, where would they get so much money?

After I got in the car, Da Hong said "I am Da Hong" several times on the way, but I ignored him. The third elder, however, kept blowing air on my neck from behind. Fortunately, I was smart enough to insist on sitting in the passenger seat, or I would have been embraced and kissed vigorously by him by now.

After a while, we seemed to have arrived in a more remote area. This seemed to be outside the scope of Fuming City.

The car stopped near a barren mountain. I heard a faint sound of water. Da Hong got out, and I followed him. The third elder excitedly came behind me and said, "We're here. This is our other base. Let's go in. I'll have them introduce themselves to you later!"

These people probably have quite a few hideouts. For now, I can only go in and see the situation.

I obediently followed the third elder and Da Hong. They expertly used magnetic cards to open the door of a mansion in front of them. The place was covered with tall silver fences, and many bushes grew nearby. The sound of the river seemed to come from the mansion's courtyard. A very wide river flowed past the villa and out.

The pavilions of the mansion were designed in a very ancient style. Some windows emitted a dim blue light. The eaves and door panels seemed to be in the style of the Song Dynasty. I even saw two people dressed in Song Dynasty clothing standing in front of the main hall.

Suddenly, I felt as if I had returned to ancient times. I didn't know what the original owner of this house did, nor why he designed his home this way.

However, as I looked closer, this house didn't seem to be a modern design. It was likely originally like this, a historic ancient mansion.

We entered the main hall of the house. I expected to see some classical furniture, but instead, I heard the rapid tapping of keyboards.

Countless technical staff were frantically operating computers, looking very busy.

The third elder led me to the center of the hall and said with satisfaction, closing his eyes, "Listening to the sound of their keyboards, doesn't it make your heart pound with excitement?"

"Very good, I feel like the action cells in my blood have all been activated!" I replied in agreement.

"Yes, that's what I thought when I first came here. It seems, Little Puppy, we are truly of one mind!"

I didn't want to answer, my attention was focused on the computers of those technicians. I discovered that they could see the entire Fuming City's Sky Eye system and could even zoom in on the internal situation of each house, especially those with installed surveillance devices.

It was too terrifying. Here, it seemed most families had no privacy.

I even saw a few guys watching others take showers, with sinister smiles on their faces. A few others were giving orders to others. Seeing my curious look, the third elder suddenly started clapping and said, "Everyone, pause your work for a moment. This is my new subordinate, Little Puppy! Everyone, come and meet him!"

Many people quickly turned around, but a few individuals seemed to completely ignore him. The third elder strode over angrily and yanked the headphones of one of those people to the ground, yelling, "Did you not hear what I just said?"

"What are you doing? You effeminate bastard!" a guy retorted angrily, slamming his desk.

"Say that again! I'll have you kicked out immediately!" the third elder shouted, his face contorted.

"So what if I say it again? The whole association knows you're a sissy!"

"You!" The third elder slapped him, and the guy's neck was twisted, causing him to hit a computer tower and bleed from his nose!

However, the others dared not help because Da Hong had stepped on the guy's spine. The fellow let out a scream and lost consciousness.

Da Hong was terrifying. With one kick, he probably exerted hundreds of pounds of force.

From now on, I can't confront him directly, or he might be able to flick me to death with a single finger. However, someone like him can be utilized. I had another, more conservative plan in mind.

As I thought, I soothed the third elder, "Don't be angry. That guy has received his due punishment. Let's talk about business!"

Because my tone was gentle, the third elder grunted and turned to me with a very ambiguous expression. "I knew Little Puppy, you are the best to me. Alright, you guys teach him how to operate our internal system."

"Yes! Third Elder!" several guys replied. Da Hong directly threw the guy he had stepped on earlier out. I felt a little uneasy. I probably couldn't resist here, or I would likely be crippled.

I followed a few guys to understand the association's system and found that it was a very crude online game. I didn't understand it at first, but the third elder said, "Do you think we use legitimate chat software? That would be too easy to detect. But in this game we developed ourselves, we can communicate and secretly issue tasks while playing the game, making it very difficult to be discovered. This game was jointly developed by our technicians, and we named it Heart of Sin."
