Having learned from the last haunted house experience, I would never again venture into a potentially dangerous place with just a few people.
The group split into multiple teams, all equipped with high-grade gear and maintaining 24-hour vigilance. Upon entering the amusement park, we discovered it was completely deserted. At that moment, I had a fleeting thought: could this place, like that apartment building, be used to mislead the police?
Just as this idea crossed my mind, several protruding objects appeared in the water not far from the park. Things were constantly drifting and floating on them. We all held our breath and cautiously approached. As we neared, the floating objects submerged into the water. We all assumed they were fish, but I accidentally noticed a pipe sticking out of the water's surface.
I sneered, "Come out! Stop hiding. Do you think I wouldn't know you're in the water?"
My words seemed to alert him, but the pipe immediately submerged as well. Xiao Yuande and I exchanged glances. Dao Zhi Yong, highly alert, immediately jumped into the water. A moment later, Yuande emerged, having caught nothing, but he did pull up a very plump carp.
Initially, everyone wanted him to come up first, but then Dao Zhi Yong stepped on something, a section of the floor beneath them suddenly opened, and then, along with a loss of water, they both fell!
During the fall, we could still hear shouts. Liu Yu Ning, myself, and others rushed in immediately. The water level had already dropped to our knees, but I couldn't see the opened floor, which must have closed again. We fumbled around. Gao Ming Qiang nervously asked, "No way? Two are gone just like that?"
"Don't worry, they should be fine. They've just been temporarily taken elsewhere. Let's keep searching. We must find that woman and rescue them!" Under my command, the group dispersed again, forming teams of four, weapons pointed everywhere. This amusement park was quite large. Despite our numbers, it would still take a considerable amount of time to cover everything. We moved with our weapons through an area near a cultivated farm, where numerous fruit trees and aquatic creatures were grown. As we passed a lake, we spotted several electric eels resting leisurely on the surface. Everyone recognized them and dared not approach, as being electrocuted was a real possibility.
It's important to know that the electricity emitted by electric eels is astonishing. We bypassed them directly. Later, discovering pipes in the lake again, we didn't act impulsively this time. I picked up a stone and hurled it into the lake at one of the pipes. With a series of thuds, several fish floated to the surface. They weren't electric eels, but carp, and they had been stunned by the stones! Gao Ming Qiang wanted to go into the water to investigate, but I pulled him back. "Don't be impulsive. Have you forgotten what happened to Dao Zhi Yong and Xiao Yuande just now?"
"Uh, so what do we do? Do we just go around them again?" Although Gao Ming Qiang had changed, his personality couldn't be entirely altered. Sometimes, he still reverted to his bewildered state.
I didn't answer, but showed him with my actions what we should do next. We continued deeper into the forest. However, as we reached a different part of the woods, the sky began to darken. Time passed so quickly. It was only around 2 PM when we first arrived here.
Due to the low visibility, I cautioned everyone to be even more vigilant. They all agreed, gripping their guns tighter. As over a hundred of us moved through the forest, we suddenly heard shouts from not too far away, followed by two sharp cracks. Several SWAT officers beside me cried out in pain, and I saw blood oozing from their foreheads.
"Everyone be careful, we're under attack!" Liu Yu Ning shouted. Su Ya Xin, for some reason, couldn't resist pulling the trigger. A gunshot rang out, and she hit a shadowy figure in the distance. We immediately charged forward, only to find a person trying to attack us with stones near a reef. We surrounded him completely.
"Police! Hands up and surrender! Drop to your knees with your hands on your head!" Gao Ming Qiang threatened, pointing his gun at the man's head. The man's arm had already been hit by Su Ya Xin's bullet.
I grabbed the man's wounded arm, forcing him, "Speak, where is your boss?"
"What boss? I don't know who you're talking about?"
"That woman!" I showed him the photograph. Although I didn't know who she was, we had obtained the photo, which was a still from a video.
Seeing the woman in the photo, the man visibly tensed, his lips twitching involuntarily. But he insisted, "I've never seen her!"
"Never? Then why are you so nervous? You've taken over this amusement park, haven't you? Are you criminals? What are you doing? Bring out Xiao Yuande and Dao Zhi Yong!"
I bombarded the man with questions, but he clutched his wound and cried out, "Don't do this, I can't take it anymore! Take me to the hospital! Help me!"
"If you don't talk, we won't send you," I threatened him deliberately. The man, however, was surprisingly resilient, preferring to risk his life rather than cooperate. At that moment, Su Ya Xin, agitated, kicked his wounded arm, causing him to scream in pain. "What are you doing? Officer, help me!"

"They're behind the trees. There's a hole here, you can go in!" The man finally broke under the intimidation and revealed the location. I noticed Su Ya Xin's foot was pressing on his wound.
Following the man's instructions, we headed towards the hole in the tree. To our surprise, there was indeed a staircase leading down. We left half our team, with Gao Ming Qiang to lead them on the outside. The rest of us descended together.
After the stairs, we arrived at an underground sewer. Yes, it was an underground sewer. Beneath this amusement park was a hidden world.
Holding our guns, we walked on the sewage, moving forward step by step. The police dogs followed us. Though Da Hei was gone, Fei Hu and Xiao Niu had inherited his legacy and led the way. Suddenly, they started running, leaping, and catching a person trying to escape. We surrounded him with our guns, shouting, "Stop running! You have been arrested by the Guangming City police!"
