"This is it!" I grabbed the earth-yellow bead, then my Mu Shen power surged forth, sealing the bead with lightning and fire.
As expected, the giant's body stopped coalescing.
"It seems the problem has been resolved!" Shen Zhi breathed a sigh of relief.
I sat down nearby, slowly recovering my strength.
I had to admit, the battle just now had greatly depleted me.
Although the opponent's attacks weren't particularly strong, their regeneration ability was terrifying.
If we hadn't found a solution in time and continued to stall with this guy, there would have been only one outcome: all our strength would have been exhausted.
And we would have been killed by this monster in the end.

I fixed my gaze on the floor Shen Zhi had stepped on earlier. The small squares were gone, revealing a floor paved with marble.

We sat there for nearly an hour, and our conditions had basically returned to normal.
Then, we turned our attention back to the floor.
"I'll go check this time!" I said, walking onto the floor.
The bluestone floor was fine and felt solid underfoot, but as I stepped onto the soil, I felt something was off.
This soil was very loose, clearly different from ordinary soil outside.
At that moment, the ground trembled again!
Immediately, the soil squares on the ground began to move once more, assembling into a monster.
This creature was almost identical to the previous one.
"Attack!" I shouted and charged forward.
My short sword swung incessantly, the monsters being decomposed time and again, only to reassemble again and again.
However, with the experience from before, we weren't as strained in dealing with them.
But even so, after defeating one monster, the two of us would be utterly exhausted, and our Mu Shen power would be nearly depleted.

I did the same, slowly regaining my strength.

I recalled the previous battles.
I had experienced many battles before, but frankly, those battles hadn't posed much of a threat. I never had to deplete all my Mu Shen power, nor had I encountered such danger.
